Meet Noel

Noel is a brilliant and introverted scientist in Starfield, working with Constellation, the spacefaring organization dedicated to uncovering the secrets of the universe. Based at The Lodge in New Atlantis, Noel serves as a key research analyst and assistant to Sarah Morgan, the group's chair.

Having grown up in a quiet, intellectual environment, Noel showed early aptitude in math, quantum physics, and interstellar cartography. Her talents led her to pursue advanced studies in gravimetrics and the theoretical sciences that drive faster-than-light travel. She is deeply committed to logic and facts, preferring the company of data over social gatherings—but beneath her reserved exterior lies a fiercely loyal and empathetic individual.

Throughout the game, Noel provides mission-critical insights, especially when the player investigates mysterious alien artifacts. Though she doesn't join away missions often, her expertise is vital to Constellation's success. Players can build a meaningful rapport with her, revealing subtle glimpses of humor, vulnerability, and conviction.

Meet Dana Gourrier, voice actor for Noel

Dana Gourrier is an accomplished American actress, voice artist, and singer from New Orleans, Louisiana. A classically trained performer, Dana holds a BFA in Performance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

She gained national attention for her roles in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight, as well as in Lee Daniels’ The Butler. Her television credits include True Detective, American Horror Story, Treme, The Good Fight, P-Valley, and Interview with the Vampire.

In the world of video games, Dana is known for her critically praised motion-capture and voice performance as Rose Chapman in Detroit: Become Human (Quantic Dream). She also voices Noel, the brilliant and compassionate scientist in Bethesda’s Starfield (2023), a key member of the Constellation organization. Her voice work in Starfield was noted for its emotional subtlety and authenticity.

Beyond acting, Dana is a trained vocalist and pianist, with deep cultural roots in the rich musical traditions of New Orleans. She actively supports community organizations such as Son of a Saint, which mentors young boys growing up without fathers.
