About Starfield Unity
Welcome to Starfield Unity — a fan-made site born from my deep love for Starfield and a desire to create something positive and helpful for fellow players. This isn't just another mod database; it's a labor of love dedicated to celebrating the game we enjoy and the incredible community that makes it even better.
Why Starfield?
Starfield captures so much of what I love about games. As someone who's always been drawn to science fiction and space exploration, Bethesda's vision of the Settled Systems resonates deeply with me. The sense of wonder when jumping to a new star system, the stories waiting to be discovered on distant planets, and the freedom to forge your own path — it all comes together in a way that keeps me coming back.
I'm particularly drawn to the ship building and gunplay. There's something incredibly satisfying about designing a ship that's uniquely yours, then taking it into combat and feeling every shot land. But beyond the mechanics, it's the atmosphere — the feeling of being a small part of a vast, mysterious universe — that truly captivates me.
The Power of Mods
Mods have transformed my experience with Starfield in ways I never expected. From quality-of-life improvements to entirely new content, the modding community has extended the game I love in countless directions. I have a huge appreciation for every creator who takes the time to build something for this game — whether it's a small tweak or a massive overhaul, each contribution adds value to our shared experience.
That's why one of my main goals with this site is to spotlight the effort and creativity of mod creators. They deserve recognition for the hours they pour into their projects. For free mods, creators often receive no reward other than seeing others enjoy what they've built. For paid mods, the compensation usually represents a fair investment for the time and enjoyment they add to our playthroughs. This site is my way of giving back to that community and helping others discover the amazing work being done.
A Space for Positivity
I recognize that Starfield isn't perfect — no game is. But it includes so much of what I love, and I believe in focusing on the positive. There's already enough negativity online. Instead, I wanted to create a space dedicated to honest, helpful content that helps others have a better experience with the game.
Whether you're looking for mods to enhance your playthrough, building load orders to share with others, or just exploring what the community has created, I hope this site helps you find what you need. My goal is to make it easier to discover great content, connect with other players, and celebrate the game we all enjoy — flaws and all.

About Me
Hi, I'm Jeff. I'm a software engineer who has been passionate about building websites since 2004 (and before; anyone remember GeoCities?) and has loved video games since my Sega Genesis in the 90s. I tend to lurk, and up-vote things, on Reddit as Ghastly-Knight-117, so you probably won't know me from there, but I have enjoyed others' contributions to the Starfield community.
I've been playing Starfield on my Xbox Series X since the first week it came out (delayed a few days as I finished another favorite space game, Everspace 2). I have wanted to explore creating mods myself, but I don't own a PC (just Macs) and I've never dabbled with Creation Kit before. So, for now at least, I'll leave that to the experts we have already in the community and focus on what I do best: making websites that help others.
I love this game, and I'm grateful to be part of a community that feels the same way. Welcome aboard, and enjoy your journey through the stars.
