Meet Jacob Coe
Jacob Coe is a seasoned settler and former lawman of the Freestar Collective, best known as the father of Sam Coe and grandfather to Cora. Residing in the frontier city of Akila City, Jacob embodies the rugged, independent spirit that defines life beyond the core systems. Stern, principled, and often emotionally reserved, he maintains a strained relationship with Sam, shaped by differing views on duty, family, and personal freedom.
Despite his gruff demeanor, Jacob is deeply rooted in a sense of responsibility and legacy, having served to uphold order in a harsh and often lawless environment. His presence reflects the generational tensions of the frontier, where survival, honor, and stubborn pride often collide.
Meet Kyle McCarley
Kyle McCarley is an American voice actor known for his extensive work across video games, anime, and animation, with a career that has steadily grown since the mid-2010s. Born in Chicago and trained at the University of Southern California’s School of Theatre, McCarley developed a strong foundation in performance before moving into voice acting, where he quickly became recognized for his range and emotional delivery.
He is perhaps best known in gaming for his role as 9S in NieR: Automata, alongside notable performances as Alm in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, the Gatekeeper in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Zeroken in Disgaea 5. His credits also extend to titles such as Final Fantasy XV, Tales of Berseria, God Eater 2: Rage Burst, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, among dozens of others. In Starfield, he voices Jacob Coe and also contributes additional voices, further showcasing his range within Bethesda’s expansive universe.
Beyond games, he is widely recognized in anime for voicing Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama in Mob Psycho 100 and Mikazuki Augus in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Known for his versatility, McCarley has also contributed to audiobooks, commercials, and television, building a reputation as a dependable and dynamic performer across multiple entertainment mediums.
