Meet The Hunter
The Hunter is a powerful and enigmatic Starborn who serves as both rival and mirror to the player’s journey through the multiverse. Confident, philosophical, and brutally pragmatic, he approaches the pursuit of the Artifacts as a cosmic inevitability rather than a moral choice. Unlike the more restrained Emissary, the Hunter embraces the freedom and dominance that Starborn power provides, believing that only the strongest deserve to shape the outcome of each universe they enter.
While his origins change across different realities, he consistently carries the demeanor of someone who has lived countless lifetimes, learned every human weakness, and discarded most sentimental attachments along the way. To him, conflict is not cruelty. It's simply the way of things. He sees the player not as an enemy, but as a developing equal who must either rise to the challenge or be swept aside by the endless cycle of creation and rebirth.
Meet Phil Crowley
Phil Crowley is an accomplished voice actor. A veteran narrator and performer, Crowley is widely recognized as the long-running announcer for Shark Tank.
As a narrator he has lent his voice to close to a hundred episodes of E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORIES, and many other documentary series on National Geographic, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Court TV, the Travel Channel, and more. His career includes thousands of commercial voiceovers for major brands (for brands like John Deere, Priceline, McDonald's, Mini Cooper, Verizon, 7/11, Jaguar, Pepsi, State Farm, Albertson’s, Chevron, Mercedes, countless banks, hospitals, and corporations), along with roles in animated series like TaleSpin and appearances in live-action projects including Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager.
As a character actor, he plays The Hunter in Starfield, giving voice to one of the game’s most philosophically intense Starborn. In addition to his game work on Starfield, he has contributed to film voiceovers (for example Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star) and maintains a background in stage performance, music composition (pianist and composer), and magic, showcasing a career defined by versatility, precision, and enduring vocal presence.
