Character Spotlight #23-Major Hadrian Sanon
In this Character Spotlight, learn about Major Hadrian Sanon and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, the voice behind Hadrian.

Meet Major Hadrian Sanon
Hadrian Sanon grew up under the shadow of infamy—the daughter of Vae Victis, the disgraced general whose name still lingers like a curse across the United Colonies. Determined to prove she was not her father’s echo, Hadrian enlisted in the UC military, where her intellect and discipline earned her a place among the Red Devils, the elite unit tasked with studying and combating alien threats. Her service with the UC Xenowarfare Division honed her into a formidable soldier and strategist, one who learned firsthand the unpredictable nature of life beyond human space. But the deeper she went into the Division’s work, the more she saw the fractures within the system she’d sworn to serve—the quiet corruption, the expedient lies, the moral decay buried under bureaucratic polish.
Steadfast yet disillusioned, Hadrian carries herself with controlled precision, her sharp mind and unshakable will masking the quiet weight of legacy. To some, she represents the promise of the UC’s future; to others, the reminder of a dangerous past. To Hadrian herself, she is simply a survivor of both bloodline and battlefield—fighting not just for humanity’s survival, but for her own sense of honor.
