Character Spotlight #18-Andreja and Clover MacKenna
In this Character Spotlight, learn about Andreja and Cissy Jones, the voice behind Andreja and Clover MacKenna.

Meet Andreja
Mysterious. Intense. A shadow at Constellation.
Andreja’s origins lie within the austere halls of House Va’ruun, the reclusive and zealot-driven faith that worships the Great Serpent. Raised within that isolated sect, she was taught discipline, secrecy, and devotion. Yet even in her earliest years, Andreja carried questions within her heart that clashed with the rigid answers offered by her people. The dogma was unyielding; Andreja was not.
Her journey through the Settled Systems was marked by hardship. For a time, she survived on the fringes of society, moving through hidden channels where smugglers, spies, and fugitives trade in whispers and shadows. Her skillset—stealth, blades, and the art of silence—became both her shield and her prison. The galaxy taught her to trust sparingly, to hold her past close, and to wear mystery as a second skin.
It was Constellation that offered her something different: purpose not bound in faith, nor survival alone, but in discovery. Though she often keeps her distance from others within the group, Andreja’s loyalty runs deeper than her guarded demeanor suggests. Those who earn her trust find a steadfast ally, and those who betray it find themselves learning why she is feared in the shadows.
Andreja’s relationship with the wider Settled Systems remains complicated. She carries the weight of her Va’ruun upbringing, torn between belief and disillusionment, faith and freedom. At times, the specter of her past catches her in quiet moments, her eyes fixed on the horizon, as though she is listening for a voice she can never fully silence.
Within Constellation, Andreja is the blade in the dark—reserved where others are outspoken, ruthless where others hesitate. Yet beneath the mystery lies someone seeking more than survival or duty: a woman searching for belonging, for acceptance, and perhaps, for redemption.
Meet Cissy Jones, voice actor for Andreja and Clover MacKenna. Also Lydia (only a voice recording).
Cissy Jones is an American voice actress best known for her award-winning performances in video games and animation. She originally studied business administration and Spanish, working in corporate jobs before making a career shift into voice acting. After training for two years, she signed with an agent and moved to Los Angeles to pursue the craft full-time.
Cissy Jones’s career in video games spans an extraordinary range of performances, from intimate storytelling to commanding heroics. She first captured widespread acclaim as Delilah in Firewatch (2016), a role that earned her a BAFTA Games Award for its warmth, wit, and emotional depth. She became a familiar voice in Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead, portraying Katjaa, Jolene, Brie, and others, before stepping into the shoes of Joyce Price, Chloe’s steadfast mother, in Life Is Strange. Jones later embraced the role of Fury in Darksiders III, imbuing one of the Four Horsemen with razor-sharp sarcasm and raw intensity, and carried the authority of Titan Commander Sloane in Destiny 2. As Norah Everhart in Call of the Sea (2020), she guided players through a mysterious and emotional journey, while her turn as Sarah Sheppard in Dead Island 2 added bite to a zombie-ravaged Los Angeles. She lent a chilling presence as The Absolute in Baldur’s Gate III and the divine power of Abdiel in Shin Megami Tensei V. Bethesda fans know her well from Fallout 4, where she voiced Doctor Duff and Doctor Patricia Montgomery, and from Starfield (2023), where she gave life to Andreja—one of Constellation’s most enigmatic companions—while also voicing Clover MacKenna and Lydia. Her versatility has carried into countless other roles, from crowd voices in Grand Theft Auto V, to Constable Maria Keene in The Outer Worlds, to the cosmic villain Kaguya Otsutsuki in Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, and even additional work in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. With each project, Jones has proven her ability to breathe life into characters big and small, leaving an indelible mark on the worlds players inhabit.
Outside of games, Jones is also known for her animation work, most notably as Lilith Clawthorne on Disney’s The Owl House.
Alongside acting, she is an advocate for voice actors’ rights. She serves on the board of the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA) and is a founding member of Morpheme.ai, a company focused on the ethical use of AI in voiceover.
Cissy Jones is celebrated for her range, emotional authenticity, and commitment both to her craft and to protecting the future of voice performance.
Meet Clover MacKenna
Clover MacKenna is a receptionist at CeltCorp, headquartered in the Trade Tower on Volii Alpha in Neon City. Though her day seems routine—greeting visitors, managing paperwork, keeping the wheels of business moving—beneath this quiet exterior lies concern, compassion, and a caring heart.
When the player first meets Clover, she is burdened by the debt of Saburo Okadigbo, a local business owner who borrowed from CeltCorp. Clover grew close to Saburo over time, and his inability to repay jeopardizes more than just his livelihood—it weighs on her conscience and her pride. She believes that the debt should be paid off, even if it means going against typical corporate protocol. Her role as receptionist masks someone invested in others’ well-being and willing to use her position to try to do the right thing.
Clover is the quest-giver for Hard Luck, a side quest in Starfield. In Hard Luck, the player helps Clover attempt to settle Saburo’s debt. The quest reveals layers of her personality: her empathy for Saburo, her discomfort with the moral complications of debt, and her sense of responsibility. Players have multiple ways to approach the problem—persuading Saburo to accept her help, paying off the debt themselves, or using Clover’s hidden diary to expose her feelings for Saburo and sway him.
Her desk, behind the reception area in the CeltCorp offices, holds her diary: a small, intimate record of her thoughts, anxieties, and affections. It shows another side of her—someone who, despite her outward professionalism, is vulnerable and emotionally invested.
