Meet Marika Boros

Marika was born and raised on Polvo, part of the Freestar Collective, Marika’s family worked in HopeTown at the HopeTech starship factory. Initially believing in the legend of Ron Hope, she became disenchanted upon seeing low wages, poor working conditions, and company stores pushing alcohol. She dreamt of upholding justice and joined the Rangers, but soon realized real-life law enforcement was pragmatically corrupt. Her stint was short-lived, though the training on Akila allowed her to leave Polvo. She relocated to the United Colonies, seeking steady work as a crew gunner. Marika critiques both Freestar for its corruption and the United Colonies for over-regulation, pointing to systemic issues like poverty and crime in places such as “the Well”. Marika hopes to explore various settlements to learn successful living systems and eventually start her own outpost, though she’s committed to her current crew role.

Meet Amelia Earhart

Amelia is a clone of the original Amelia Earhart, created by the secret “Operation Starseed” project. She exists as part of a colony of historical clones on the planet Charybdis III, at the settlement named Crucible. With solid stats, a bubbly personality, and strong fan appeal, she’s a fun companion bringing history, heart, and humor to your cosmic adventures.

Meet Julie Nathanson, voice actor for Marika Boros and Amelia Earhart

Julie Nathanson is a dynamic, multi-talented performer whose voice brings life to a vast array of characters across media and video games. Her unique blend of vocal talent, psychological insight, writing skill, and musicality makes her one of the most versatile voices in entertainment today. Julie completed a BA from Tufts University, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute. Before full-time voice acting, she was a staff writer and story editor on NBC’s Just Deal, earning a Writers Guild of America nomination. She also works as a writing consultant for game developers, previously supported Vader Immortal (Star Wars VR), and spoke at the 2019 Game Developers Conference.

Her portrayal of Marika blends toughness and nuance, quickly making the character a fan favorite. As Nathanson shared in a 2023 interview, she was “so proud and honoured” to be part of Starfield, calling the game “incredibly expansive and truly beautiful”.
