Meet Lt. Jillian Toft

Jillian Toft is a seasoned United Colonies operative and accomplished sharpshooter who serves aboard the UC Vigilance during the Crimson Fleet infiltration storyline in Starfield. Calm, professional, and quietly intense, she is known for her unwavering loyalty to the UC and her strong sense of duty, even when operating in morally gray territory.

Jillian’s background suggests years of combat and counter-piracy experience, which has shaped her disciplined demeanor and sharp tactical instincts. Unlike some UC personnel who lean heavily into ideology or politics, Jillian is pragmatic. She's focused on results, survival, and protecting civilians from the chaos caused by pirate factions like the Crimson Fleet. Her role aboard the Vigilance places her at the crossroads of law, deception, and sacrifice, embodying the personal cost of the UC’s shadow operations and the kind of resolve required to fight threats that cannot be confronted in the open.

Meet Jan Johns

I was wildly popular at my elementary school talent shows. Well…with the parents, most of the kids wanted nothing to do with me. Good thing, because that led to a lot of alone time which blossomed into a career of talking to myself.

My voice can be heard on a Fisher-Price Blender, Video games like Fallout 3 & 4, Mighty Number 9, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and the voice of the female Predator in Predator Hunting Grounds. Cartoons like Mickey Mouse Funhouse, The Loud House, Jetbear, The Witch Sisters, Public Pool and the voice of Mayday in the animated feature, Seal Team.

I studied musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory of Music and the University of Maryland. Toured with the Capitol Steps, performed on camera, on stage, under scaffolding (puppetry) and behind the mic. Also, I’ve studied improv/sketch comedy with The Groundlings. I don’t take myself too seriously, but I do take dependability, kindness and punctuality very seriously. I can have fun, but I know when to reel it in when it’s time to work. Other than that, I am a total nerd that also enjoys a good fart joke.
