Character Spotlight #67-Paxton Hull

Meet Paxton Hull

Paxton Hull is a former major in the Freestar Collective’s First Cavalry, a military unit that fought during the Colony War. After the war ended, Hull and many of his soldiers felt abandoned and betrayed by the Freestar government, believing that their sacrifices had been discarded in the name of peace. Rather than return quietly to civilian life, Hull kept the First together as a mercenary force.

By 2330, he has become the principal field commander behind a campaign of intimidation and violence against farmers, using the First’s military experience and equipment to drive people from their land. His actions bring him into direct conflict with the Freestar Rangers during the quest “First to Fight, First to Die.”

Hull is bitter, disciplined and fiercely loyal to his former soldiers, making him more than a simple bandit: he sees himself as a veteran who was wronged by the society he fought to protect.
