Meet Aja Mamasa

Aja Mamasa was one of the most influential leaders in Constellation's modern history and served as the organization's Chair before Sarah Morgan assumed the role. Meet Tamika Simpkins

Tamika Simpkins is an American actress, voice actress, writer, producer, and editor whose career spans television, theater, film, and interactive media. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time, quickly establishing herself in both on-screen and voice-over roles. In addition to performing, Simpkins has written, produced, and edited independent films and has worked behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Computer Science and African-American Studies, and has also spent many years working in the technology sector alongside her acting career.

On television, she has appeared in series including The Wire, The Shield, Southland, Shameless, Bosch, Kidding, Grace and Frankie, Dispatches from Elsewhere, NCIS, and The Rookie: Feds. Her theater work has earned praise for performances in productions such as Doubt and Death and the King's Horseman, while her voice acting has become increasingly prominent in modern video games.

Simpkins has built a growing portfolio in the video game industry through a combination of principal and supporting voice roles. In Starfield (2023), she voices both Aja Mamasa, the former Chair of Constellation and mentor to Sarah Morgan, and Anya Griffon. She later contributed additional English voice work for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024) before taking on the role of Mahalia in South of Midnight (2025).

Earlier in her gaming career, she voiced Salome in Fast & Furious Crossroads (2020) and provided additional English voices for Final Fantasy XV: Comrades (2017). Her performances across these titles showcase her versatility, ranging from major story characters to ensemble voice work in large-scale role-playing games and action adventures.
