Meet Huong Le

Huong Le is a minor but memorable character encountered in the Underbelly beneath Neon. Living in poverty and struggling to survive, she survives by asking passersby for small donations while maintaining an unexpectedly cheerful and optimistic outlook. Despite her difficult circumstances, Huong is portrayed as kind-hearted rather than bitter, speaking warmly to those who show her compassion.

During the miscellaneous quest "Balancing the Books," the Spacefarer meets her after being directed by Rafiq Hamza, who believes she may have possession of a missing data slate. Huong explains that she found the slate but wants help recovering several of her own lost spreadsheets before giving it up. If the Spacefarer agrees and retrieves the scattered data slates around the Underbelly, she gladly returns Rafiq's slate, demonstrating that she values fairness and honesty despite having very little herself. Her brief appearance highlights the stark contrast between Neon's glittering wealth and the hardship endured by many of its forgotten residents, making her one of the city's more sympathetic NPCs.

Although she has only a small role in the game and no extensive official backstory, her upbeat personality, gratitude toward those who help her, and determination to keep going despite adversity have made her a memorable character among many Starfield players.

Meet Sanyee Yuan

Sanyee Yuan is an American actress, voice actress, writer, producer, and television host who has built a career spanning film, television, animation, video games, and digital media. Raised in San Francisco, California, she developed an early passion for storytelling and performance, which eventually led her to attend Harvard University, where she designed her own interdisciplinary major, Narrative in Rhetoric & Performance. Her studies combined subjects such as screenwriting, public speaking, broadcast communications, improvisational acting, filmmaking, folklore, and mythology, reflecting her interest in how stories connect people across different cultures.

Before focusing primarily on acting, Yuan gained experience as a journalist and entertainment host, producing and presenting travel and entertainment programs while honing her skills both in front of and behind the camera.

In addition to her live-action work, Yuan has become well known for her voice acting. She has provided English dub performances for numerous Korean dramas, including Snowdrop, The King's Affection, Move to Heaven, All of Us Are Dead, Juvenile Justice, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Revenge of Others, and Thai Cave Rescue. She also contributed additional voices to Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon and portrayed Blair Whitney in NBA 2K25.

Among video game fans, she is best known for voicing the optimistic and compassionate Huong Le in Starfield. Though Huong appears only briefly, Yuan's heartfelt performance helped make the character one of Neon's most memorable residents.
