This mod makes ship ramming more hardcore by removing any favoritism for the player, and increasing the possible damage that can be done to both ships involved. See videos for demonstrations (videos may not play in the in-game Creations menu and might have to be viewed on the Creations website with a web browser).

Note that in the videos, I have to shoot the ships first to turn them hostile, otherwise the collision will do no damage. As far as I can tell, this is hard-coded and cannot be changed.

The outcome of ramming now depends solely on each ship's shields, hull strength, mass, and velocity. If you try ramming a tiny class A ship into a big class C, you will take lots of damage while not doing much to the enemy. Conversely, if you have a big class C ship, it is possible to instantly destroy small class A ships if you can land a solid hit.

Under the hood, this mod is as simple as it gets, only touching the following 4 game settings. The hard part was finding ranges that were somewhat balanced. This is load order neutral, but do not install it at the same time as the easy version of this mod.
