This mod increases the damage done by ramming into enemy ships. The player is favored in damage calculations, and can do more damage overall. See videos for demonstrations (videos may not play in the in-game Creations menu and might have to be viewed on the Creations website with a browser). Note that in the videos I am using a Nexus mod that shows shield true health, as opposed to percentage.

Ramming damage only applies to ships that are currently hostile to you. Ramming into friendly or neutral ships does no damage, unless you shoot them first to turn them hostile. As far as I can tell, this is hard-coded and cannot be changed.

While the player is favored, ramming damage is still affected by each ship's shield strength, hull strength, mass, and velocity, so it is still possible for the player's ship to be destroyed during ramming if it is low on health. However, if you have a large class C ship, it is possible to one-tap weak enemy ships if you are able to land a solid hit.

A hardcore version that removes player favoritism is uploaded separately, because as far as I know there is no way to keep 2 different versions of the same creation available for download.

Under the hood, this mod is as simple as it gets, only touching the following 4 game settings. The hard part was finding ranges that were somewhat balanced. This is load order neutral, but do not install it at the same time as the hardcore version.
