Teleport Rings

Have you ever been stuck somewhere and wished you could make a quick escape? Are you longing to skip more load screens and make short work of long trips? Have you ever wished you could go back to a place that's no longer accessible, visit the parents you never had, access all the player homes without buying them, drop into a test or debug cell, skip straight to the Unity, or build a nexus point between worlds where dozens of important locations are always just a magical door away? Then this is the mod for you.
On a table next to the couch in your room at the Lodge, you'll find a mysterious box that contains a most impressive collection of jewelry items - Teleport Rings!
If you equip a Teleport Ring, a one-way floor hatch will appear where you are, allowing you to travel to its destination as if it were just on the other side of a door. You can simply equip the ring and unequip it without leaving the menu, and your new floor hatch will appear, ready to use. If you no longer need the floor hatch, simply damage it and it will disappear. You can leave as many of these floor hatches around as you like, or destroy them next time you return from your trip. They can be placed and used anywhere, including on your ship, in someone else's house, in a dark cave, or deep in an enemy facility. If you use another one of my mods, Build and Decorate Anywhere, you could make a player home with easy access to other important locations just about anywhere. The galaxy is at your fingertips.
Notes:
- If there's a location you'd like to see included that currently isn't, let me know and I'll add it to the next update.
- These rings take up no armor slots, so you can wear other rings or clothing items at the same time.
- Floor hatches created by these rings are one-way trips only; to return, you'll either need to use another teleport ring, take a ship, or fast travel.
- If you teleport to another planet, your ship won't automatically be at the spaceport. You can either fast travel to another location to bring your ship along, or visit a ship technician and change your home ship (and change it back again if desired), which will make your ship appear at the spaceport.
- Visiting locations before or after you're normally allowed to could potentially break quests, skip scenes, or generally make you laugh. It's best to save beforehand, just in case anything goes awry.
Enjoy!
