Build & Decorate Anywhere

Have you always wanted to spruce up the Lodge with some new decorations? Is Akila City boring without a giant windmill in the center of town? Want to add a bed and some workbenches somewhere and make it your new home? Then this is the mod for you.

On the shelf of a small lamp stand in your room at the Lodge, you'll find a mysterious box that contains a most impressive pair of jewelry items - the Ring of Building and the Ring of Decoration!

If you equip the Ring of Building, a standing lever switch will appear where you are, allowing you to enter the outpost building menu as if you had planted an outpost beacon. If you equip the Ring of Decoration, a standing button mechanism will appear where you are, allowing you to enter the more limited decoration menu as if you were customizing the interior of your ship or player home. You can simply equip the ring and unequip it without leaving the menu, and your new activator will appear, ready to use. Once you've entered the menu, press B as usual to switch between building menus (in some cases, your building options will be empty until you press B).

Notes:

These rings take up no armor slots, so you can wear other rings or clothing items at the same time.
Building and decorating will still cost resources as usual, unless you use another mod to change that.
Resources will be available from your ship when building, as usual.
Some cities and other locations are more difficult than others to find good placement areas; however, with some trial and error, you can usually find a way.
It's recommended to save before equipping one of the rings, in case you don't like the placement of the standing switch or button. You won't be able to delete it once you've placed it.
Containers may not be safe storage depending on location and whether the area respawns storage contents; use these with caution or do some testing by waiting a long time elsewhere and returning to check contents.
Using a new standing lever or button to build or decorate within an area that already allows you to build or decorate, or within an area you've already used a different standing lever or button in to build or decorate, may cause issues with which standing lever or button (or default beacon or control pad) controls which built items. It's recommended to try not to overlap if you can avoid it, but if you'd like to try your luck, save beforehand :)
