The Gardeners of the Galaxy have gotten together to try and increase the variety of plants found in all universes. With so many different types of interesting looking flora, it was a shame to not be able to collect them. No longer is every lootable plant in the game a not so interesting succulent worth 15 credits!

This mod add 300+ unique potted bonsai trees, flora, flowers, and other potted plants to the games leveled lists for you to collect and display or sell. There also a few other things I thought looked nice in the pots that I added as well. The majority of these planters are based on plants present in the vanilla game on various planets/biomes, however there are quite a few new plants as well as a much wider variety of color variation. Each of these potted plants can also spawn in 30+ different combinations of pot and soil color. Need more variety? There are additionally 25+ new planter display items that can be unlocked by completing Decoration Research 1-3. Additionally 2 sets of these displays have variations that will randomly decide each NG+ which sets are available to you by default. Additional data slates can be purchased at the Root 'n' Twig that can unlock the other sets if you wish.

Where can I find them? Anywhere you can find vanilla potted plants! The vanilla potted plants are replaced as you explore with the new items. Vendors that sell misc items and vanilla plants may also carry the new items. If you want to find a wide variety of the new plants in one location, make your way to the newly opened store: Root 'n' Twig; located near the MAST building in New Atlantis.

Compatability: The mod changes the vanilla potted succulent records, so mods that modify the weight, value, or other aspects will likely be compatible. This conflict will prevent the plants from being replaced as you explore if the conflicting mod if lower in the load order. The store added by the mod is located in New Atlantis, other mods mod modifying the same (small) area will cause visual conflicts. Issues/Notes: -The tops of the collisions on some plants may not line up correctly. This was a deliberate decision to prevent items from bouncing around when replacing old potted plants. As a result you may occasionially see the added plants clipping through items on top of them, I found this to be a more desirable result than having items knocked about. I think the issue is acceptable, as players are not likely to stack the plants on top of each other. -Not all of the plants will fit properly into the planter displays, there are no restrictions on which you can place into a planter, so taller plants will likely be too large for some of the smaller displays. The planters use their default display keyword, so the new displays can also be use on other misc items. The planters with dirt will have anything other than potted plants sticking out of the dirt, not on top of it. -The bonsai trees use the same model and textures as vanilla plants in most cases. Since these are more poly heavy, having a whole lot of them in one spot could impact performance. If your looking for a more performant mod of this style, there is another Bonsai tree mod on Creations by KaizenMods. That said, my xbox testers gave no reports of noticeable FPS hits in the store.

Great mod. Sometimes too many spawn in a spot making a mess. Happens often in the cities.
