Welcome to Weapon Balance Revised, part of the 'Starfield Revised' Series. Which aims to bring balance to our gameplay across the settled systems.
What does this mod do?
This mod aims to balance all vanilla and DLC (Shattered Space + Terran Armada) weapons, so the Grendel you found in Kreet labs is just as viable as the MGP Ballistic Rifle you pick up later on (Provided they're both the same quality level).
- All vanilla weapons rebalanced, everything is viable
- Weapon attatchments readjusted so no matter how you customise your gun, it remains competative
- Bullet spread tightened, guns are now much more accurate (Lasers even more so!)
- Crosshairs changed to a dot only, since you are much more accurate now!
- recoil adjusted for lasers, they have significantly less than before (since light doesn't have mass)
- Weapon range has been adjusted (more for rifles, less for shotguns)
- Laser sights activate only when you aim
- Tracers and laser projectiles removed, no more weird bullet angles!
- Supressed weapons have no muzzle flash for maximum stealth!
- Levelled lists adjusted, you'll find almost every gun starting from level 1 at vendors (with the exception of mag weapons and explosives)
- plus loads of other minor fixes and tweaks
- (DLC Version) Resonator and Cathode added to more vendor lists, you should find them in New Atlantis and other places now! This is the most comprehensive mod I've ever made, and it's taken a ton of time to get everything just how I wanted.
