E.X. Solution Systems

EX Solution Systems enhances higher level gameplay by introducing new lots of new armor, new weapons, new clothing, and other new equipment. NEW VERSION! 2.0!!

E.X. Particle Solution System Weapons: E.X.02 Compact Particle Solution System: particle machine pistol with option "low" auto and "full auto" receivers E.X.05 Assault Particle Solution System: particle rifle that is semi or full auto. E.X.13 Adaptive Particle Solution System: Can be configured as a particle sniper rifle or particle shotgun. E.X.25 Heavy Particle Solution System: Can be configured as a continuous beam or full auto explosive weapon.

E.X. Melee Weapons: E.X. Mono-edged cutlass E.X. Phasic Sword (multiple colors available)

New equipment: E.X. Phasic Plating: These are "phasic" shields which you can equip along with virtually any spacesuit. The phasic plating can be found in your helmet inventory, but do not prevent helmets from being equipped. They can be adjusted and tuned for different buffs on any spacesuit workbench. There is a wide variety of colors you can choose from (craft at a workbench). This can be crafted once you research the EX Ops Armor.

Special kill effects! Some E.X. weapons are capable of causing special kill effects. These effects can only occur when you kill an enemy with a critical hit with certain E.X. weapons. The effect frequency can be adjusted in gameplay options (from 0-100%).

Starting at level 40, players will begin encountering NPCs wearing new Elite versions of previous armor sets. These Elite armor sets have greatly improved stats and brand new looks. New armor sets include:

E.X. Operative Outfit - this is apparel which carries great resist stats.

All spacesuits, helmets, boostpacks, apparel, and weapons are available from various NPCs and some are purchasable at vendors. E.X. armor can be found on high level UC Marines, at UC Surplus, UC Distributors, and Red Devil HQ. Elite Crimson Fleet armor can be found on Crimson Fleet and at Crimson Fleet vendors. Elite Ecliptic can be found on high level Ecliptic. Elite Varuun can be found on high level Varuun zealots. Elite Trackers alliance, Elite Mercenary, and Elite Bounty Hunter can be found on high level spacers. E.X. Weapons can be found randomly at advanced weapon dealers. E.X. Weapons are utilized by high level enemies.

New in 2.0: E.X. Laredo firearms can be found sometimes on Spacers as well as members of "The First". They can be purchased directly from Laredo Firearms in Akila. The new Ranger, and First gear can be purchased from Shepards in Akila if you have completed the Ranger questline. E.X. Mantis armor can be crafted by researching it. Once researched, you will be able to craft both Elite Mantis and base Mantis gear using the E.X. Fabricator.

Featuring the E.X. Fabricator! This crafting workbench is an ALL IN ONE workbench! Use it to craft and enhance E.X. gear, as well as use any base game workbench.

NOTE:

All weapons, armor, and apparel are FULLY DARKSTAR UPGRADEABLE. If you have the amazing mod, Darkstar, you can use Darkstar armor enhancement, apparel enhancement, and weapon enhancement workbenches to upgrade all of armor, apparel, and weapons included in this mod to "Mk II" versions. NO PATCH REQUIRED. Note that those additional features require Darkstar.
