Adds various Starborn themed decor and outpost structures in a new build tab.

1.13:

  • After multiple complaints I have decided to remove the Starborn faction perk requirement.
  • I thought it was cool to have it as an end game reward, but it's a mod, use at your own discretion.

I wanted my own mod for the Starborn furniture, but since there's so many already I decided to add a bunch of custom stuff as well.

I'm still calling it a work in progress but I think it's far enough along that I wanted some feedback. There's a couple bugs I need to squish that will be noted below.

This is a full master. It was almost at the small limit so I just made it full so I can add whatever I want later without issue.

Adds:

Landing pad with shipbuilder:

  • Sideways land marker for the Starborn ships, but works fine with normal ones. May be some slight clipping with extra large ships.

Furniture:

  • The cut Starborn stuff many mods have. The custom small locker is actually a transfer container with maxed out carry weight.

Decorations:

  • Variants of the Starborn notes and some decorative items.

Trade Terminals:

  • A Trade Authority terminal with a little extra.

Custom weapon racks:

  • I made a weapon rack from the wall planter and some custom stands that float the weapon.

Outpost storage containers:

  • Floating rocks with maxed out carry weight. Blank or labeled. The "All" container works as a transfer container.

Special extractors:

  • Caelumite, Helium, and Water. Can be built anywhere. The Caelumite one is powered by helium.

Armillary variants:

  • A copy of the Lodge one and my own custom one.

Working Planters:

  • Basically tiny greenhouses. They don't take power, only water, so they can be built in a ship. Use the small locker as a transfer container to manually provide water in ships.

Power generators:

  • The solar should scale according to planet conditions like the normal ones, but with more power.
  • The fueled one is like the vanilla one, it will likely have to be turned off and on after setting it up, and provides much more power.

Known Bugs:

Landing Pad:

  • Navmesh issues. Not sure, but I think it's because it's floating. The car and Vasco will spawn on the ground. My follower could walk on the pad but got confused and stuck alot. I tried many different things and I'm pretty sure it's right, but it's not working properly. I figured for now I don't need npcs walking around an active landing zone, but I will try to improve it in updates.
  • The car option in the ship services terminal doesn't work. Not sure if I need the update as a master file or what. If anyone knows please let me know.

Future Plans:

  • I'm looking into making custom ships to add. And maybe some Spacesuits.
  • Maybe more extractors and builders.
