Projectile Control Rings

Have you ever wondered how much fun you could have with a Gravity Wave microgun? Have you always wanted to shoot 12 frag grenades from your shotgun? Do you want to use Hornet's Nest rounds with any weapon? Would you like to use ship weapon projectiles with your favorite pistol? Have you always wished the Arc Welder was actually useful? Then this is the mod for you.
On the bottom shelf of a small lampstand to the left of your bed at the Lodge, you'll find a box that contains a most impressive collection of jewelry items - Projectile Control Rings!
If you equip a Projectile Control Ring, any weapon you fire will use the projectile specified. If you want to try a different projectile, simply unequip the ring and equip a different one. The possibilities are vast.
Notes:
These rings take up no armor slots, so you can wear other rings or clothing items at the same time.
Only one ring can work at a time. Equipping more than one ring at the same time will result in only one of them working.
Shotgun weapons still fire multiple of a given projectile, including grenades, and non-shotgun weapons fire only a single projectile, including shotgun projectiles.
Generally, damage type is dictated by your weapon, so EM weapons will still stun even with explosives, and non-EM weapons will not stun even with NovaBlast or similar projectiles.
Ship weapons are fun, and...interesting. You'll generally want to fire them at an upward angle or they may hit the ground in front of you.
Fully automatic Hornet's Nest or other explosive projectiles can be dangerous to the player, as your rounds can hit each other before getting far enough away from you. Every weapon acts a little differently with explosive projectiles, so test and get comfortable before going into battle.
The Arc Welder is surprisingly effective with almost all projectile types. Try it out.
Enjoy!
