First a Warning! These ships will disappear if already purchased and you disable this mod and/or the Ship Vendor Framework mod.
There is a workaround that you can try though: If you've bought one of the ships and modify it in the ship builder menu by changing the name and some of the parts or changing the paint you may be able to keep the ship. Do this at your own risk though. The game might crash with the mods disabled and might load if you make a second attempt. Make a manual save before trying this though.
With that out of the way, on to the description.
The mod adds five custom ships ranging from Class A to Class C All ships can land on a small landing pad No glitch building techniques used - ships can be modified easily in the ship builder Standard ship parts used - no need for any other mod except for Ship Vendor Framework Available at the New Atlantis ship vendor None of the ships are player level locked. Be careful not to purchase a ship that is a higher class than your piloting level. Mostly Nova parts are used with Taiyo cockpits for the great visibility that they offer. Ships feature windows in all directions so you can check for scary monsters before venturing outside except for the 2 cheapest ships.
Design aims:
- High firepower
- Strong shield
- Plenty of cargo space
- 6 Crew or more
- Mobility 100
- All crafting stations except for the 2 cheapest models Parts have been chosen for light weight not hull strength which means that if your shields are about to go down, it's probably time to run away.
Ship list
Gunslinger I
Class A Fast Decent firepower A good upgrade over the Discovery
Gunslinger II
Class B with Class A engines Based on Gunslinger I with better shield and weapons and just as fast.
The Brick
Han Solo: "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid." Class B Increased cargo All crafting stations
Master Blaster
Class C Over the top, money is no object build Plenty of room for cargo Improved shield You will need to invest in the ship tech tree to get increased jump range from this ship. Alternatively you could remove the rear bottom cargo container.
Turret Monster
Class C Based on Master Blaster All turret weapons - beware of friendly fire incidents
