StarSim Beyond Space does a lot to space and to ships that makes it a more enjoyable experience. It's one flaw is compatibility with other mods. Back to Vanilla returns some of the changes back to Vanilla for when you want to run the mod with a large load order. If you prefer to run ships with stats based on Star Sim's balance, do not use this. Look for StarSim patches for individual mods that bring those mods into line with StarSim's ship stats instead.
- All ship parts will be returned to Vanilla stats.
- Moves ship parts back to their original location in the ship builder.
- New StarSim parts will have stats more in line with vanilla stats.
- Boost is handled by a perk instead of modifying the engines themselves. You'll have near infinite boost outside of combat.
- Stars will have significantly less particles to help with a rare bug that gets the particles stuck around your ship.
- Makes the Navigation Table placeable on your ship.
With the Back to Vanilla patch, you will want to place Star Sim early in your load order, Back to Vanilla directly afterwards, and other ship part mods after that.
