Deep Atlantis

Experience New Atlantis in its true colors, the way the concept artists envisioned it.

Through a complete recalibration of the 23 LUT files that govern color grading in New Atlantis, this mod reveals what was hidden beneath the surface. Expanded dynamic range gives you true blacks and clean whites; a gentle contrast curve adds presence and spatial separation; a subtle saturation lift lets the city's own colors speak instead of collapsing into a single muted tone.

Robots look white. Skin tones look warm. Objects stand apart from their background. Surfaces hold their texture. Nothing has been added that wasn't already there: every color comes from the game's original assets, no new palettes or cinematic filters were added. The result is a New Atlantis that feels closer to its concept art: the city as Bethesda's artists envisioned it, rendered with a depth that shines on a modern display.

Designed and calibrated on an OLED display, where the difference is most striking, but it works on any screen. All screenshots are real in-game captures across different weather conditions, none of them edited. Any difference in contrast between them comes from the weather itself.

I highly recommend installing "Better NA Water" or "Water Visual Improvement" by halrixx alongside this mod, to make New Atlantis even cleaner around its waterways and reflective surfaces.

WHAT IT CHANGES

23 LUT files specific to New Atlantis (exterior day, partly cloudy, atmospheric curve, and all color sub-zones of the city)
Nothing outside New Atlantis is affected. It does not change any gameplay, mesh, sound, etc.

LOAD ORDER & COMPATIBILITY Compatible with all mods except those that alter New Atlantis LUTs. If using a weather overhaul that touches Jemison, load Deep Atlantis last.
