OwlTech Perditus Fleet Addon 05: Grotto Mod Requires: OwlTech Perditus Fleet Core Mod Mod Requires: Shattered Space DLC Mod Requires: Terran Armada DLC Mod requires all updates Overview: This addon for the OwlTech Perditus Fleet Mod introduces a new, hidden space station called the Grotto and launches a spin-off story centered on the crew of the USS Pathfinder. After a devastating attack by the Terran Armada and the subsequent betrayal by the UC and Freestar fleets who failed to provide aid, the surviving crew of the Arcturus DryDock and the USS Pathfinder were forced to retreat. They built the Grotto in secret as their new base of operations. IMPORTANT: • This addon cannot be uninstalled mid-game. Doing so will corrupt your save. It is safe to add to an existing game. • This addon permanently alters the core mod's story and world by destroying key locations and ships as part of the Terran Armada's attack to wipe out the Starfleet presence. • This addon requires the fictional "Terran Armada DLC". Key Things Added: • Stations o Grotto Key Locations:
- Katydid System o Katydid 1 Grotto World Altering Changes: • Arcturus III: The Arcturus DryDock and the U.S.S. Horizon are destroyed. • Arcturus I: The Muses Deep Space Array is destroyed. Features: • New Storyline: Experience a new spin-off story following the crew of the USS Pathfinder as they deal with the aftermath of the Terran Armada attack and the betrayal of the Settled Systems' major powers. • Hidden Base: Discover the Grotto, a new space station hidden from the rest of the galaxy, serving as the new home for the Pathfinder's crew. • Cataclysmic Event: The installation of this addon permanently changes the game world, marking a major turning point in the Perditus Fleet narrative by removing central hubs and ships from the core mod.
