OwlTech Perditus Fleet Core Mod Mod Requires: Shattered Space DLC Mod requires all updates Overview: The OwlTech Perditus Fleet Core Mod is the essential foundation for the Perditus Fleet collection, bringing the spirit of exploration and discovery to the Settled Systems. This core mod introduces a variety of Star Trek-inspired elements, including foundational ships, outfits, items, and locations, all integrated in a lore-friendly way. It is designed for those who like Star Trek and Starfield, offering a rich, immersive experience. This core mod is required for all Perditus Fleet addons or patchs.
NOTE: The Perditus Fleet Mod is a BETA at this time with plans for more. We have tested this considerably both on PC and Xbox, but no one can find everything, and we cannot know how every other mod out there may conflict with this mod.

Note that saving the game while inside the Holodeck and then exiting the game may cause your player ship to spawn in an unintended location upon reloading the save. Always exit the Holodeck before saving and quitting the game, especially when docked to a station or on a planet. • Artifacts and Lore: o Discover a rich tapestry of Star Trek lore integrated into the Starfield universe. Why Install the Perditus Fleet Core Mod? • For Star Trek Fans: Relive the wonder of Star Trek's iconic starships in the vast universe of Starfield. • For Roleplayers: Immerse yourself in a rich, Star Trek-inspired story that blends seamlessly with Starfield's lore. • Essential Foundation: This mod is required for all Perditus Fleet addons, which add new ships, locations, and stories to the experience. Warnings: • Turbolift: Do not leave the ship while the Turbolift is moving. This will break the Turbolift, requiring you to reload a previous save to fix it. • EMH: Do not attempt to make the EMH a companion. This will break them. • EHBC: Do not attempt to make the EHBCa a companion. This will break them. • Do Not Attempt to Edit or Modify The Ships in the ship build menu. It is blocked but do not try with other mods it will break the ship and may even your game. • You May need to hit the button more than once to get the EHM and EBC to spawn, give a sec between hit to let it spawn. • Warning: Holodeck Save Integrity o Notice: Saving the game while inside the Holodeck and then exiting game may cause your player ship to spawn in an unintended location upon reloading the save. This is due to a known issue with Holodeck spatial coordinates conflicting with ship spawning mechanics. o Note: This issue only occurs when you are docked to a station or on a planet. Saving in the Holodeck while in open space is unaffected. o Recommendation: Always exit the Holodeck before saving and quitting the game, especially when docked to a station or on a planet. If you accidentally save while in the Holodeck, manually exit the program before reloading to minimize the risk of spawning errors. Always Hard Save before going into the Holodeck. o Failure to follow guidelines may result in your ship being placed in a random location, potentially disrupting your gameplay experience. If this occurs, you will need to revert to an older save to restore proper ship positioning.

Overview:
This update brings significant improvements to the mod’s stability, performance, and content. The core team has performed a massive cleanup, reducing the mod’s reference count from 429,898 to 260,412, making the mod lighter and more stable for both PC and Xbox users. Several ships have been moved into standalone addons to improve modularity, while new outfits, crew systems, and gameplay features have been added to enhance immersion.

1. Mod Cleanup & Optimization
• Reference Count Reduced: From 429,898 to 260,412 — a 39% reduction — improving load times and reducing potential conflicts.
• Modularization: Ships like the USS Veritas and Starbase 42 have been moved into separate addons to improve mod management and reduce core mod bloat.
• General Code & Asset Cleanup: Removed redundant assets, fixed broken references, and streamlined internal logic.

Change Drydock outfits to the Fleet ones, will not show up until fresh play thought
Fixed issues with randomly teleporting to engineering when they sit in the pilot seat
Made background changes to the drydock that should help with lag
Fixed floating rank on Fleet outfits
Made a change to the lift in the Pathfinder that will hopefully stop random moving
Removed Nav in the captain's bedroom on the Pathfinder to stop the crew from watching you sleep.
Removed most recoil from the hand weapons
