Lazarus Awakened v2.0 – (New Version) A new Starfield side quest for Xbox & PC

PC & Xbox: This version completely unlocks the quest, removing the requirement to first play the UC Vanguard quest. However due to major spoilers it is strongly advised that the UC Vanguard quest be completed first. It also contains fresh script fragments following the script detachment issue that happened to the mod during the upload of 1.03. The old version will not be deleted as some players have successful playthrough's with saves dependant on that version but if you haven't played it before please use this new fresh version.

To start the quest just visit New Atlantis and make your way to the SSNN building in the commercial district. When you enter the building the quest will start, and you will be directed to the slate on the main desk. The quest will take you to new locations including a dungeon with two distinctly different sections. This quest hopes to answer some of the un-answered questions relating to the Vanguard quest and tell the un-told story of Dr Reginald Orlase.

Unlike my Regrets creation there are no voiced npc’s but there is a new chem you will be able to craft, plenty of environmental storytelling, terminals to read, and importantly lots of loot along the way. The dungeon is designed to be challenging but enemies are levelled to your character. I have placed a fair amount of randomised ammo to collect throughout but bring your favourite and bring extra. You’re going to need it!

Rewards: Along with the usual XP, Astra, and Credits you will also receive a slightly buffed legendary named weapon and a re-imagined slightly extended Dream Home, set beside two large lakes. The home has been extended with a basement laboratory, small storage/display space to stash your stuff, hidden workbenches, indoor pool, and log fire with outside chimney. While the Lab is decorated, the rest of the home is free to decorate yourself. This is a quest creation however not a player home creation. The villa is just a story appropriate reward bonus. I hope you enjoy using this creation as much as I enjoyed making it.

Disclaimer & Legal Bit: All my ideas are my own, any similarity to any persons living or dead is purely coincidental. As with all mods use at your own risk. This is a large mod, and I have only tested it on clean un-modded PC and Xbox saves. With the number of other mods out there it would be impossible to test its compatibility with the infinite number of combinations there could be. Any other mods that make changes to the SSNN front desk could potentially cause issues.

Known Issues: Xbox Users Only: The Icon in the workbench is missing for Terrorstim but the chem is still there in the workbench menu and craftable, the issue is purely graphical and limited to the Xbox. Xbox Only: occasionally picking up Ellie Yankton's slate does not call up the objective to travel to the co-ordinates. If you travel directly to the Abandoned Research Base on Altair IV-d and head into the upper hab the quest will progress as normal. Any left over quest markers will be marked as completed at the end of the quest and removed from your quest log.

Useful tips: If you like to adventure away from the quest markers and have found a slate or key before the quest directs you to collect it, just drop it on the floor and pick it up again. The quest will then progress. If experiencing conflicts with other mods it may be worth trying to change the position of Lazarus Awakened in the load order.
