Description Apparel Variety Expanded significantly expands the visual variety of clothing seen across the Settled Systems using only vanilla clothing, mesh swaps, and subtle recolours. This mods seeks to make NASA‑punk‑friendly changes that should give most non-faction NPCs you come across a touch more individuality. Expect more from this mod in the future, but the package is pretty big as it stands and should please thy eyeballs readily.

Context So basically, in every Bethesda game up to and including Fallout 4 - characters have had gendered clothing, which isn't really the case in Starfield - meaning outfits look pretty much the same regardless of body type. However, this functionality still exists in the CK but is only really used in vanilla to provide appropriate morphs/meshes to the two different body types.

This mod utilises this functionality to seamlessly add new variations of existing outfits and recolours others - serving to increase the visual variety on offer. Layer on top of that some general changes targeting the removal of those ginormous baggy pants on outfits such as the Space Trucker Flannel - and I think we have ourselves a wider smorgasbord of better-looking clothing worn by a significant number of NPCs.
