Antares: Supra
By desqell
Community Rating
Antares as it should be. A predominately House Va'ruun ship manufacturer decommissioned during the Serpents Crusade. Discover a new Relic Staryard POI, make it your home away from home, and claim/build the fiercest ships using modular components designed for House Va'ruun.
Featuring animated ship parts, both on the ground and in space, with a framework for customizing ships using greebles—perfect for Players and Creators alike.
RECOMMENDATION
This Creation is load order sensitive with specific framework and Overhaul mods, highly recommend finding the sweet spot for your unique list of mods.
I also recommend following build tutorials via the Darkstar and Antares Discord channels. This Creation has a steep learning curve, even for moderate shipbuilders.
HOW TO START After loading in, you can fly to Oborum Proxima and encounter the POI and associated quest. Its good to start on both NG and NG+

TIPS
- Have a well built load order, this Creation is very sensitive to load priorities.
- Follow build tutorials on the Darkstar and Antares Discord for guidance (optional)
- Invest in Special Projects to unlock more parts.
- New Snap Nodes connect to alike, I have created a small guide video for those not keen on shipbuilding
- A new Razorleaf can be bought after completion of Mantis.
- Inside the Sundered Reef near the vendor is a clue to where the Dreadnought is.

-
1.021.02 Freelanes/Playstation/QoL/Dreadnought Content Update
Bug Fixes & Polish
- All reported bugs fixed, plus a large pass on unreported object reference errors and graphical quirks.
- Snap adjustments throughout — added some, removed some, tuned others.
Equipment
- Cladding Node — new equipment type, similar to the Reflective Shield but stronger, with a solid kickback effect.
- Reducer Auto-Ballista — a heavy-ship ballista, single variant for now. Energy cost is favorable. ***Open to feedback on whether to add leveled tiers or scale it back.***
- Naga-KI Shields — two new leveled variants, Lesser and Greater.
Ship Parts
- Gallery Corridors; available in 1-wide/long and 2-wide/long configurations, with observation windows built for cruise mode flying in mind.
- Foehammer Bridge; helm reminiscent of the Nova Drake, featuring a large wrap-around viewport.
- Pike Helm; a gutted automated ship control head with an installed pilot seat. Narrow, cramped, built to feel like you're a tanker.
**The Yellow Paint Update**
- Keeping it simple: the POI quest has been shortened significantly and built to be more streamlined, without station departure.
- Player has a bookmark perk and will autocomplete and clear the Sundered Reef as you exit The Unity as if you were never there. This should make instant access to ship parts.
- Fast travel from the Sundered Reef is also enabled. And before anyone asks — no, I didn't put a vendor near the door. There's reasoning behind that, which leads into the next section.
Why travel to the Sundered Reef and its vendor-less entryway when you can find an abandoned Dreadnought that does everything the Reef does and follows you?
- Mobile Shipyard that also functions as an allied ship (toggle on/off)
- Cladding Node schematic found on board
- Encoded Beacon; a constructible misc. item for home ships, to summon the Dreadnought to where you are.
