If you are on PC, please check out my upcoming Creation, Exigent Circumstances: Starborn at NexusMods! Soon to be on Creations! for both PC and Xbox! https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/15634

v1.51 -Cleanup with xEdit! Removed dirty edits, duplicate forms, should improve stability fingers crossed. Fine to update mid save. To be safe, make a save outside of Scimitar before updating. When I first made this mod, I had no idea what xEdit even was and I have so been so busy with Exi Circ: Starborn I forgot to give Beyond a good cleaning!

v1.5 -Two variants of Scimitar, NG 1-10, and NG 11+. Scimitar I has slots for 5 crew, and Scimitar II has slots for 7. If this is your first install, as long as you have been through the Unity at least once, your Guardian will be replaced with Scimitar I Scimitar AI Terminal -Built in virtual Vendor with 1m credits -Info tab for my upcoming mod, Exigent Circumstances: Starborn. I was going to do a 2.0 for this mod, but I have done SO much the past month that the only way to really make it work would be a new mod. Starborn is a complete overhaul of what it is to be Starborn. There will be 3 Scimitar variants in Starborn, massive under the hood changes, and the Scimitar AI terminal will be your hub for everything. More details inside Scimitar!

-For Beyond: if you are upgrading and already have Scimitar, once you get in game after updating, save, and reload that save. It should fix any ship issues. The same applies if you are less than NG 11. Login with new mod, save, reload and any ship issues should be fixed.

**Note--Move the contraband from the crate on Scimitar to ship storage (mech parts/AI adaptors for Watchtower) before jumping to settled systems!

Welcome to Exigent Circumstances: Beyond. If you are using my other mods already, get somewhere safe, unequip any Exigent gear, switch Home Ships (if using Scimitar) and logout. Unload my other mods, then make a clean save without Exigent mods installed. At this point install Beyond from Creations and head to the Lodge.

The thought process with this mod is based on my experiences as a day 1 player, who has now made 40 trips through the Unity. I always loved the idea of one ship, one gun, one set of armor, this really rings true if you go through the Unity repeatedly plus, I don't enjoy grinding for materials every trip. This mod is designed for players who like extreme difficulty and have made at least 10 trips through the Unity. That being said, all armor and weapons are unlocked at NG +1, 5, and finally +10. from NG+12 to NG+20, special enhancements are unlocked as well. Scimitar is only available on NG+11 and beyond. From NG+1 to NG+10, you will always get a Starborn Guardian VI.

Beyond is balanced enough to be your only gear and ship mod after NG+1 if you so choose, but it really shines the more you go through the Unity. If you only want the resources, so be it! Everything about Beyond is connected to your Unity trips, so uninstalling/reinstalling makes no difference (I would not recommend uninstalling if you are in space on Scimitar...). It's up to you how to play and it works great with Darkstar TGO (make sure this mod is above Darkstar in your LO), Starborn Among Us, and holds its own no matter how hard you make the game.

To get started, head to the lodge basement. There's a couple of lore-friendly slates that explains why a crate of loot is sitting in the Lodge, and gives instructions for the gear system, advancement, and the hidden weapon.

What this mod includes: Scimitar (new starting ship, available starting at NG+1 when you step through Unity) --Custom, unique Starborn ship exterior and interior with built-in custom workbenches, a bottomless crate with loads of resources, astras, digipicks, mech parts, sentient AI adaptors, 8 books you can sell in Akila for 300k a piece (at Sinclair's), and books with all of the Earth landmarks. --Built in bed/Med pod combo (requires Useful Infirmaries patch) --13,000 shielded Cargo --250 base speed (from 180, can hit 400+ with perks and gear) --Increased hull --Scan Jammer --Balanced shield increase (ship is an offensive monster, so I didn't want to go too crazy with defense) --Increased maneuverability --A functional brig that can accommodate four "guests" (requires Useful Brigs patch)
--Plasma Lance--a capital ship level weapon (24 pips of power!!) that vaporizes both shield and hull with massively increased fire rate, range, recharge rate and damage. Graviton Torpedo--long range, high damage burst fire missiles that do not immobilize opponents (Please use LBN's Lock on Range Extended!! so awesome!!} --Dark Photon Array. Quickly disable opponents with this EM auto weapon

Exigency Unique Inflictor that can be crafted at a work bench and has four quality tiers. The first is available at NG+1, second at NG+ 5, third at NG+ 10, and final at NG+20. There are some crafting requirements, but nothing harsh and everything needed is in the crate as long as you have the research done. --Custom burst fire mode (3 shots, tight grouping) --built in silencer (Inflictors are so loud!) --Compatible with any skin packs that enhance base game/vanilla weapons Brand new, custom Legendary Perks --Exigent Fury--consecutive hits increase damage, plus 50% haste --Exigent Boon--3x ammo capacity, reduced fall damage while wielding Exigency --Exigent Shattering--Shatters armor, lightweight build, increase damage while aiming

Exigent DarkArmor Custom Starborn Armor with 3 quality tiers, available at NG+1, NG+5, and NG+10. At NG+12 and beyond powerful armor linings are unlocked (13, 15, 17, 20). Compatible with any skin packs for vanilla gear. Cloaked and no cloak options. Fully Customized, new legendary perks --Exigent Synapse--Increased max HP (250, 500, 750 based on which armor), Starpower and Starpower regen rate increased, 20% run speed increase. --Exigent Sentinel--Medpack Automedic, damage reduced by 35% while standing still, damage from humans reduced by 10% and all sources by 10%. Resources and weapons weigh less. --Exigent Justice--Rifles do 10% more damage, headshots do 25% more damage, humans take 10% increased damage, damage increased to scanned targets --at NG+12, new, easily changed custom lining options are unlocked at the spacesuit bench (will become visible at NG12) --Temerity-- 10% increased crit chance and 20% increased crit damage --Shadow Master-- 40% increase to stealth --Bulwark--40% increase to armor --PackMule--+100 to base carry weight At NG+13, 15, 17, and +20 special liners (Exigent Blessing series) will become available that combine multiple effects. Each level includes a built-in fast recharge Emergency-Kit heal that stacks with the heal from AutoMedic (requires Emergency Kits in inventory!) AND triggers on a separate timer (they can fire off in rapid succession if not on CD).

Exigent DarkBlade Custom Wakizashi with 3 quality tiers, available at NG+1, NG+5 and NG+10. At NG+12 a power energy shield is unlocked that reduces damage and has a high chance to reflect enemy attacks. Compatible with any skin pack for vanilla weapons Fully Customized, new Legendary Perks --Exigent Fury--consecutive hits increase damage, plus 50% haste --Exigent Alacrity--Greatly increased run speed, increased stealth, and greatly reduced fall damage --Muramasa's Touch--Shatters Armor, ultralight, Applies Muramasa's Curse on hit (burns and weakens targets with dark energy) --Exigent Shield (NG+12) blocking creates an energy shield that increases armor and reflects a high percentage of enemy attacks.

Starfire/Starfire Omega Literally, the only weapon you will ever need. It's the equivalent of a class specific Mythic Weapon from other games. Takes some work and NG+20 to get final version, but you won't be disappointed!

Quality of Life Changes -Constellation Mission Board now unlocked for Alternate Universes (it's locked in base game if you get an alternate universe!) -No more broken ankles! Drastically reduced chance for fall injuries. You still take damage (which is reduced by Exigency/Starfire/Darkblade) but the days of carrying stacks of Immobilizers are over. This is a global change, so you do not need Exigency equipped for a lower change of ankle breaking (it's about 5% from really high up now). In this form, if you do break your ankle, you have been turned into stardust already. -Significantly buffed the payout for Crimson Fleet Questline! If you are using any mods that change the Crimson Fleet questline, do a hard save before quest completion. if the payout is not dramatically increased, move this mod below any mods that change the CF questline and try again.

I really love this game, and have been so inspired by Creators like Agd25, Ghostrider231, S1nderion, Shengokai, FlippingEggs, kinggath_creations and especially WykkydGaming-- thank you for your incredible mods!

Please enjoy and if you have any problems with the mod you can find me on Discord @khylarin

Changelog --1.02-- Scimitar's weapons are now properly aligned with weapon ports on ship

--1.01-- Fixed issue with not being able to build armillary on Scimitar immediately after getting final artifact from Buried Temple.
