DarkStar Trainee's Maelstrom

DarkStar Astrodynamics has secretly infiltrated several realities to supply a special weapon to those they hope will become future agents. These weapons accelerate the wielder's learning curve, and help them traverse their reality, and defeat their foes, with greater speed and accuracy.

Can be found leaning against a wall in the lobby of The Lodge.
Grants 7.5x Experience from all sources up to level 100, when it will disable itself.
Grants 20,000 carry weight until level 100, when it will disable itself.
Cloaks the wielder when they crouch and stand still.
Has more than double standard Maelstrom ammo capacity, and reloads twice as fast.
Accuracy bonus for those freshly starting out, who haven't yet developed their skills.
Modded with silencer, and many Maelstrom best in slot weapon mods, so you can skip Weapon Engineering for a time, if you prefer.
