WH Butcher Bird

The butcher bird is a small to medium sized bird that preys on lizards, mice, insects, and other small birds, wedging them in the forks of tree branches or impaling them on thorns and ripping them apart with its hooked beak.

A one-off design, the Butcher Bird was WH Industries' first attempt to meet a UC Navy request for a light cruiser that could also double as a long range patrol vessel. Built in secret and very different to the Salamander series, the ship failed to secure the UC Navy contract despite many favorable reviews from the UC Navy crews that test flew it. Political pressure (and large bribes) eventually saw Deimos Staryards secure the navy contract with its Chimera family of ships.

The Butcher Bird is a Class C vessel, becomes available from level 25 and has plenty of room for upgrades or changes. It also requires the Ship Vendor Framework.

Please note that this is a glitch build, so if you're trying to avoid those feel free to pass on this weirdo.
