Welcome to the Akila Outlaw Refuge, an interactable player home located in the Slums of Akila City. Created for the crooks and outlaws of the Universe; this player home features an interactable shooting range, multiple quest to unlock the home, and much more.
Update 1.4 -
- The door to the home has been relocated. The video above shows you where it's located or look at the photo in the gallery that's outside of the home.
- The Stash Room: Mick’s stash room is added in, which contains a safe full of goodies and his terminal has now been relocated to this room.
- The Gun Range: My favorite addition to the update, the Gun Range is unlocked by completing the final quest (more below).
- Mission boards have been added into the workshop to replace Mick’s Terminal.
- The Texan Peppershaker (Legendary Pump Shotgun)
- The Eraser (Legendary Urban Eagle)
- Sudden Impact (Legendary Razorback): The Sudden Impact was produced by Mick himself; altering the ammo it takes and the range. This weapon packs a punch for a pistol.
Features:
- Custom containers (Fridge & Freezer now hold items, beer crate in kitchen, and storage shelf in bathroom).
- Four mannequins for your best outfits.
- Two backpack stands.
- Two helmet displays
- Four weapon displays.
- Fancy display case.
- All crafting benches & research station in workshop area.
- Interactable light switches (Update 1.3)
- Job Terminal (Update 1.3)
- Three Custom Quest (Update 1.3 added last one).
- Stash Room (Update 1.4)
- Gun Range (1.4)
- Mission Boards (1.4)
- Clear Bounty Terminal (1.4)
- Unique Weapons (1.4)
Terminal Details:
You’ll notice a terminal on the wall inside of the workshop and to use it you’ll need to complete the quest “One Last Ride” after picking up the note on the workshop table beside the backpack display. Once the quest is completed, the terminal is unlocked. My plans for the terminal is to add handcrafted quests to it via a “mission” board but without all of the randomness. For now, there are no quests added to it, those will come in future updates. Just wanted to drop update 1.2 to add some small things.
Gun Range Details: Need to test your weapons to see the strength? Go to the gun range located inside of your home. There you will find two buttons; one labeled as Farmers and the other as Security. Activating either of these will spawn in Farmer Robots or Security for you to target practice on. These robots do not give out experience. Once you’ve downed them, you can simply reset them by activating the button to make them disappear, and then hitting it again to reactivate them.
Q - How many rooms? A - Four total rooms: Kitchen/Living Room, Bedroom, Bathroom, and Workshop.
Q - Does it come with crafting benches? A - Yes it does!
Q - Does it have armor or weapon displays? A - Yes it does! Multiple of each.
Q - Is it companion friendly? A - Yep! Fully navmeshed it.
Q - Will you continue updating it? A - I plan too, Update 1.1 is just the start for the Outlaw Refuge.
Q - Need help finding the door? A - Go to Aggies Bar in Akila City, go to the Outhouse and you'll see the door.
Q - Are the quest hard? A - Nope, they're short quest that are completed by solving riddles. No combat used as of now.
Q - How to cut lights on and off? A - Use the switches on the wall (green glow).
Q - What's the job terminal for? A - Future updates will add in custom quest to the job terminal.
Q - Why doesn't the Gun Range Robots give XP? A - They don't give XP because they don't die, they simply go into a down state. I tested it out with them dying and the button didn't respawn them.
Q - How do I unlock the hallway door if I've already done the quest? A - The key that unlocked Mick's terminal in the third quest will unlock the hallway door.
