This Creation transforms Cora Coe into a 15-year-old teenager. Beyond the physical transformation, it also adds many features to Cora.

  1. Companion support [Follow, Wait, Resume Following, Dismiss, Trade] After "The Empty Nest" mission when Sam Coe becomes available to recruit, Cora Coe will have an extra dialog tree added "Ensign Coe […]" This gets added on top of the existing quests and dialog scenes to not interfere with them.

"That’s all fine and good, but there are lots of Companions and Crew members that can do that. What makes Cora Coe Teenager so special?" Glad you asked!

  1. Wardrobe. Teenage Cora Coe will automatically change her wardrobe and put on new outfits every few hours (configurable through dialog.) Imagine what Sarah must smell like after wearing that same outfit and leather jacket for days, weeks, months,… Phew!
  2. Physical Training. While following you under the guise of getting trained in how to be Captain of her own starship one day, you can order Cora to drop and do push-ups. This is good to strengthen her, increase her confidence and teach her obedience. Try getting Barret to do this, he will just laugh at you.
  3. Dancing. To show Cora that being a Captain is not all work and no play, you can order the young Ensign to dance. (You are the better dancer, but it’s all good fun.) Andreja isn’t going to dance with you, but Cora gladly will!
  4. Secret Stash. Evidently Cora’s Mom, Lillian Hart, has given her an invisible fanny pack that is an extra dimensional space (think bag of holding). Items placed in this extra dimensional space are technically not on Cora’s person (or on your ship). You will have to deal with the karma of using Cora as your teen-aged smuggling contraband/drug mule, however.
  5. Teleportation book. In the Lodge in NewAtlantis, down stairs in the basement in Cora's room you will find a book that when read will teleport Cora to the Player's location. It is located on the locker shelf to the right of Cora's bed next to the hammer.

Installation Requirements: CoraCoeTeen is a small ESM, so it will not take up a spot in your load order and if you are starting a brand-new game, or starting a new NG+ game, then the plugin can be anywhere in your load order.

If you plan on adding CoraCoeTeen to your existing game save mid-play through, you should place the CoraCoeTeen ESM plugin at the very bottom of your load order initially. This will avoid having your game save weirded out by injecting a new plugin into your existing load order which can cause your other mods to break. If you plan on adding CoraCoeTeen to your existing game save, make sure that Cora Coe is not using any furniture or sleeping on that save file. If Cora is using furniture or sleeping on the save file, it is possible that Cora’s size scale will be out of whack and instead of being shorter than all the adults she will tower over them. If that happens, uninstall CoraCoeTeen, make a new save file where she is not using any furniture, and then reinstall.

For some people, when you first load up the Cora Coe Teenager creation, Cora will have disappeared. (Typically happens when on board your ship, but can happen elsewhere too.) The easiest way to locate her is to travel back to The Lodge in New Atlantis. You may have to unassign Sam Coe from your crew when you land at New Atlantis and travel to the Lodge where you should find Sam and Cora hanging out. You might have to wait several hours, or they might be there right when you walk in. Be sure to check Cora's Lodge bedroom too downstairs, she hangs out there a lot if Sam Coe isn't a Companion or assigned to your Ship or Outpost. Locate the Teleportation book in Cora's room and read it. Cora will appar at your location (look behind the Player).

I have removed the quest conditions for the Ensign Coe [...] dialog tree. This means you should be able to access the follower dialog as soon as you meet Cora, even on a new game or NG+ game in a normal universe. It also means YOU need to be careful. Ideally you should not have Cora following you for the Sam Coe initial mission to unlock him as a follower, or on some of the main storyline quests (like finding Cora's Mom, visiting her GrandPa, etc.) If you have Cora following you during those quests, there is a real chance that they will be stuck and unable to advance because Cora can't travel to some location to participate in a mandatory scene. So be careful, and if you find some main storyline or Sam Coe/Cora Coe side quest gets stuck and doesn't advance, dismiss Cora until the Bethesda quest is played out so you can enjoy the game and story line. You can then recruit Cora to follow you again later after those quests have been played out. "With great power, comes great responsibility" as Stan Lee would say.

Hopefully once you install CoraCoeTeen into your game you won’t be able to play without her. It’s amazing what a small makeover and a little love can do to transform a character. I hope you enjoy this Creation.

This mod is great. Cora has HILARIOUS dialogue and you can pass time by dancing with her (featuring lights + music, give her contraband for her extra-dimensional bag of holding… I give her a new haircut with the enhancer gun, a cigarette from Zone79’s mod (Robotics outfit), and she’s one of the greatest companion mods out there. So deep, so well done. Can’t live without her!
