Take Your Time - Quests Don't Autostart

Starfield is full of quests. Whenever you walk through a town, they are thrown at you, and a typical game sees your quest log full of quests you will never get to. This mod gives you control over your journal, ensuring only the tasks you actually want to do appear.

Controlled Quest Starts

Hidden Objectives: When a quest triggers, the first objective is hidden. You won't see "Talk to the Scientist by the Tree" in your log until you actually speak to them and accept the task.
The Power to Reject: As a rule, you can discuss a quest with a giver and reject it without it ever cluttering your log. Only explicit acceptance makes the quest visible.
Faction & Main Quest: * Main Quest: The Old Neighborhood and All That Money Can Buy only start when you choose to talk to Sarah or Walter, allowing for natural narrative breaks.
- Factions: Markers to join the Vanguard, Ryujin kiosks, and talking to Emma Wilcox have been removed. These storylines only start if you seek them out.

Specific Quest Changes

Failure to Communicate: Now only triggers when you enter the Eridani system.
Mantis & Failure to Communicate: These can now be rejected directly in the Quest Log, similar to standard Mission Board tasks.
Shattered Space: To begin the DLC questline, you must manually travel to the Serpentis system.
