Immersive Economy
By Kilonova24
Community Rating
Ever thought Starfield's economy felt stale? This mod introduces new roleplaying elements to make the economy more dynamic.
Features
You are incentivized to trade where you grew up.
- Freestar Collective Settler: -15% buy prices in Freestar Space (excluding Neon).
- Neon Street Rat: -15% buy prices in Neon.
- UC Native: -15% buy prices in UC Space.
Wearing gear from an opposing faction will make prices for buying and selling worse.
- If you wear Crimson Fleet gear in New Atlantis or Akila City, you buy for 25% more and sell for 25% less. Neon Vendors don't care if you wear Crimson Fleet gear.
- If you wear UC gear in the Key, you buy for 50% more and sell for 50% less. The Fleet will take advantage of you.
- A notification warns you when you enter these locations wearing the wrong colors.
Completing faction questlines changes prices at the vendors affected by the outcome.
- Completing the Freestar Rangers questline lets you buy from HopeTech's Ship Services Vendor for 25% less. With Ron Hope gone, HopeTech is desperate for business.
- Completing the Ryujin questline grants you an Insider Card, which lets you buy from Taiyo and the Ryujin Tower vendors for 25% less. You must have the card with you at the time of purchase for the discount to apply.
- Completing the UC Vanguard questline grants you a UC Service Credential, which lets you buy from UC Surplus, UC Distribution, and the Deimos Staryard for 25% less. You must have the card with you at the time of purchase for the discount to apply.
- Siding with the Crimson Fleet in their questline grants you the Fleet's Crimson Card, which lets you sell for 15% more to the Den, Red Mile, and all Trade Authorities. You must have the card with you at the time of sale for the Fleet's rate to apply.
- Siding with SysDef in the Crimson Fleet questline lets you buy for 5% less everywhere. Stopping piracy leads to abundance, lowering prices throughout the Settled Systems.
- A message explains your new prices when each questline is completed.
Compatibility This mod is compatible with everything except mods that touch the Freestar Collective Settler, Neon Street Rat, or UC Native traits. This mod is editing the description of these traits to reflect the home price discount. If another mod overwrites them, the discount still works; only the description text will be lost.
