Build a Chasmbass Oil industry at your outposts. Loot a Chasmbass Genetic Sample, complete Chasmbass Aquaculture research, then build an Aquaculture Tank in the FRONTIER LOGISTICS build category.
The tank uses 3 Power, 2 Water and 1 Nutrient. About every 46 seconds, it produces 1 Chasmbass Oil and 2 Chasmbass Scraps. Route the products into the included storage containers and through Cargo Links.
After completing the research, you can also craft Trawl at a Cooking Station using 2 Chasmbass Scraps and 1 Distilled Water.
Chasmbass have a 33% chance to drop a Genetic Sample. Its base value is 500 credits in this version.
No external mods or DLC are required. Use the included storage for tank output; ordinary Liquid Storage does not accept a direct connection. If a tank placed before an update does not produce scraps, dismantle and rebuild it.
Tested on PC. Xbox and PlayStation versions have not been tested by the author. (Feedback would be appreciated.)
