Requires DLC: Terran Armada
Community Rating
This mod is the DLC support version of the base Difficulty Decoupled XP Modifier mod. It removes the XP modifiers for all difficulty options--including from DLC added options--allowing you to set you difficulty to whatever you want without effecting how much XP you gain, negatively or positively. It also adds a new "difficulty" option which exclusively effects XP gain, with the following options:
-100% - No XP gains, effectively disables leveling up. -75% -63% - DLC minimum XP gain modifier. -50% -25% -10% No Modifier - Default and vanilla setting. +10% +25% +50% +87% - DLC maximum XP gain modifier. +100% +200% +500% +1,000% +10,000%
Note that this mod is NOT REQUIRED if you have DLC added difficulty options. Using the vanilla version of this mod will simply cause DLC added difficulty options to retain their XP Reward Value, and thus result in the XP Modifier option not being the only option to affect your total XP modifier, which can simply be compensated for by further reducing or increasing the XP Modifier option.
You should NOT use this mod unless you have all DLCs which add difficulty options (currently only Terran Armada). If you don't have any DLC, or you don't have all DLC that adds difficulty options, use the vanilla version of the mod instead: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/starfield/details/9e5bbdb7-25cd-423c-82ac-81e6bc296ec7/Difficulty_Decoupled_XP_Modifier
This mod will be updated to include any future DLC (not "Creations") added difficulty modifiers which affect XP gain. Currently this is only the Terran Armada DLC, but if any future DLCs are added, then this mod will include, and REQUIRE them. The vanilla version of this mod will remain available and functional for anyone who doesn't own any such DLC, or an incomplete collection of them.
Requirements: DLC: Terran Armada
Definite Incompatibilities: The vanilla version of this mod (no need to use both, just one or the other): https://creations.bethesda.net/en/starfield/details/9e5bbdb7-25cd-423c-82ac-81e6bc296ec7/Difficulty_Decoupled_XP_Modifier
Likely Incompatibilities: Note that "likely incompatibilities" does not necessary mean there are GUARANTEED to be issues, just that testing should be more thorough, and load order more carefully considered before you start seriously playing. Any mod that alters the XP Reward Value or Description of any of the Gameplay Options. Any mod that adds or removes Gameplay options. Mods that alter the effects of Gameplay options WITHOUT changing the XP Reward Value, Description, or number of Gameplay Options are NOT likely to cause any compatibility issues.
Known Issues: The +10,000% option doesn't display correctly in the Total XP area due to there not being enough room. This is purely a cosmetic issue, and doesn't affect the end user in any way. The available options are not listed with the proper fancy syntax in the description of the difficulty option. This is because the formatting syntax for gameplay option descriptions can't seem to handle more than 0-9 options. As a result I've had to use a more bootleg method of just writing the options out, rather than using the proper formatting syntax. This is purely a cosmetic issue, and doesn't affect the end user in any way.
Please note: I do not have an XBOX or PlayStation, and cannot bug test or verify compatibility with those platforms.
