When you use a vending machine, a terminal menu will open where you can now choose what you receive from it (from that brand's selection), rather than getting something random (from that brand's selection). So now vending machines function more like vending machines, and less like gacha games.

Additionally, Advanced Nutrition, CAN-uck, and Chunks drinks are now available to be dispensed by their respective vending machines. (Other brands don't have any drink options, or are exclusively drinks.)

This mod is especially useful with survival options active, as the player can now reliably get food or drinks as desired (as long as it is available), rather than relying on random chance to dispense what you need.

Likely Incompatibilities: Note that "likely incompatibilities" does not necessary mean there are GUARANTEED to be issues, just that testing should be more thorough, and load order more carefully considered before you start seriously playing.

Any mod that alter the vending machine base objects.

Mods that alter specific vending machine references are NOT likely to cause any compatibility issues.

Known Issues: Debatable as to whether this should be considered an "issue", but a feature of the vending machine script in the vanilla game is that they will, by design, "run out of stock" or "break down" after being used a random number of times, and they can no longer be used until they are "restocked"(the cell refreshes). This was an intentional part of the original script, but this mod replaces that script with a different one entirely, and I intentionally did not replicate it for the new terminal interface, because I didn't think people would want that. In other words, with this mod vending machines work "too good", in case you consider that an "issue".

Please note: I do not have an XBOX, and cannot bug test or verify compatibility with that platform.

Side note: In the production of this mod, I discovered two interesting unused features that were programmed into the vending machine script, that were not implemented in the final game. One feature is a chance for the vending machine to "malfunction" and dispense two items for the price of one. The other feature is the chance to dispense items from a "rare" list of items, rather than the normal list on occation. However, no such rare item list exists in the game files as far as I'm aware, and no vending machine has chance set for dispensing rare items, or double items. This mod replaces the vending machine script entirely with a terminal style interface, and I have not implemented either feature.
