Read Books Without Taking Them

DESCRIPTION This mod gives you a new activate option for books/slates etc. to read them. Using this read option instead of take will leave it where it is, and will not add it to your inventory. Reading a book like this does not count as stealing even if it is owned. There's an included settings slate to remove or re-add the perk responsible for giving you the new activate option, should you need to do so.

NOTES There are two main caveats for this. Reading a book without taking it will not cause it to trigger any scripts that might normally trigger for that book if it was read from your inventory; for example, the settings slate that this mod comes with must be activated in your inventory as usual in order to work. Secondly, due to the way this mod avoids taking books, using the read option on certain slates that make use of custom text from quests may show the text cut off from where the inserted text was supposed to start. In practice these are quite rare, and they can still be read fine if you take them instead.
