Quantum Echoes introduces subtle visual differences to NPCs in alternate universes; new hairstyles, facial features, makeup, even scars. These minor differences are echoes of choices never made, or lives never lived.

Starfield’s variant universes show us that big things can change (Constellation might be disbanded, wiped out, or you might run into an evil version of yourself), but when you land in a universe that’s almost like your own? Everyone looks exactly the same. Sarah’s got the same hairstyle, same makeup, same stick… okay, maybe not the stick.

This mod fixes that.

Constellation Edition Includes: -Andreja -Barrett -Sam Coe -Sarah Morgan -Cora Coe -Matteo Khatri -Noel -Vladimir Sall -Walter Stroud

Features: Manually Change Appearances: Can't stand looking at Sarah with a Top Bun? Then you can change her appearance manually. Use the aid item "QE: Constellation Appearance" or the console command CGF "Aurie:Echoes:SystemUtil.ShowConstellation" and an in-game menu will allow you to quickly change her appearance. NOTE: The script will disable/enable the NPC when changing appearance. This is the only way to get scars/makeup to show up, but it may cause the NPC to move away from you when changing their appearance.

Companion Appearances: There is a gameplay option that allows using the appearances for Andreja, Barrett, Sam and Sarah from my Enhanced Companions mod. It is set to vanilla by default.

First Universe: All Constellation members will have their vanilla appearance in the starting universe. Appearances will be randomized in each new NG+.

Constellation in Unity Fix: Includes an updated MQ305Script so that Constellation will not show up in variant universes where they do not exist. This is a vanilla bug and this updated script fixes it. I've included this fix because using this mod without it will cause Constellation to show up bald in the Unity in Universes where they do not exist.

Settings > Gameplay Options has 5 settings available. Enable/Disable: Allows you to Enable/Disable the mod (Enabled by default). "Disabling" the mod will not take effect until your next NG+, it does not make the mod safe to remove and it will not revert NPCs back to vanilla if their appearances have already been changed. What it does do is keep appearances from being randomized/changed in the next NG+ while still allowing you to manually change appearances. Vanilla or Enhanced: Allows you to change the companions base appearance from vanilla to the appearances from my Enhanced Companions mod. Change Andreja's Archetype: Allows you to select Vanilla, Confident or Friendly Archetypes. Choosing anything other than Vanilla will get rid of her manly walk. Can be changed at any time and is applied instantly. Remove Matteo's Hat: Some of the variants for Matteo already remove his hat and this behavior can be retained by leaving this setting at DEFAULT, but you can also equip/unequip Matteo's hat here at any time. Remove Sam's Hat: Same as Matteo, this allows you to equip/unequip Sam's hat at any time and is applied instantly.

Compatibility: Enhanced Companions: Remove it. The facegen textures will interfere with the new appearances. A gameplay option is available to change the companion base appearances to use those from Enhanced Companions. Any Mod Altering Appearances is NOT COMPATIBLE: If the mod alters the appearance for any of the NPCs included in this mod they will just be overwritten when QE's scripts run. Load order WILL NOT FIX this. They are simply not compatible and cannot be made compatible.
