Overview

A vanilla-plus ship HUD enhancement, adding numerous new features and additional information to the ship interface.

Features

(NEW) - New feature or UI element. (ENHANCED) - Improvement to existing feature or UI element.

Hull Auto Repair (NEW) • Auto-repairs your hull when its health falls below 50%. • 5 second recharge time after manual or auto repair. • Functions even while HUD is in scanning mode. • UI element added to repair prompt shows auto repair status/recharge time. • Can be overridden with manual repairs at any time.

Display Ship Parts Count (NEW) • UI element added to repair prompt shows remaining Ship Parts.

Display True Shield Level (NEW) • UI element displaying true shield level. • UI element displaying shield power %. • Updates color based on shield power %. • Helps clarify upgrades, power allocation, and perks affect on shield level.

Display Hull Health % (NEW) • UI element displaying hull health %. • Updates color based on hull health %.

Display Ship Cargo Mass (NEW) • UI element showing ship cargo mass. • Updates color based on ship encumbrance.

Dynamic Throttle Indicator (NEW) • UI element displaying current throttle %. • Updates color based on boosting, cruising, or reverse thruster state.

Dynamic Boost Indicator (NEW) • UI element displaying current boost %. • Updates color based on remaining boost power.

Roll Rotation Label (NEW) • UI element displaying roll rotation in degrees.

Improved Menu Responsiveness (ENHANCED) • Increases menu update rate resulting in smoother UI elements and more responsive controls.

Repair Prompt Threshold (ENHANCED) • Repair prompt will now appear when hull health is below 75%.

Dynamic Sweet Spot Indicator (ENHANCED) • Updates color based on turning radius proximity to sweet spot.

Dynamic Weapon Recharge Indicator (ENHANCED) • Updates color based on weapon recharge percentage.

Dynamic Thruster Indicator (ENHANCED) • Thruster direction transparency adjusts with thruster power. • Hides thruster label.

Power System Alerts (ENHANCED) • Restores power system alerts for Shields, Engines, and Grav Drive when component is destroyed. • Fixes power system alerts for Weapons showing on any damage taken instead of component destruction.

HUD Inertia (ENHANCED) • Enables HUD element inertia for mouse inputs, previously limited to controllers.

Compatibility

Incompatible with any ship HUD mod altering the following interface components: • shipreticle.swf • spaceshiphudmenu.swf • shieldthrottlecomponent.swf
