Mordrid's 90 Perk / Skill Points New Game

When starting a new game, get 90 Perk / Skill Points after creating your character to start you on your journey!

You must be starting a NEW default game. Not mid-game compatible. If you want more skill points mid-game, try out my "Mordrid's Magazines Give A Skill Point" mod. I also have a 20 point mod available instead.

IF YOU STILL DO NOT GET THE POINTS - it has been proven that for some reason once in a while Starfield will not use the script within the mod. I've seen this 1st hand. Strangely, about 5% of the time, the points will not show up. BUT - if you exit the game completely, go back in and load the save that was created automatically just before your character creation, you will get the points. This is without making ANY other changes to any game setting, save game, or mod order.

The starting quest script was modified to give you 90 perk points as soon as you are done with character creation and Lin has her talk with you. So obviously will not be compatible with any quick start mods.

Gives you the points to distribute. That way if you use a mod to change the perks themselves it won't conflict

You'll have many extra points until you level up your perks by doing their requirements. As intended.

Likes to be at or near the bottom of your load order

As an alternative - New option available - I have a mod that will give you 5 points by reading a custom skill magazine located in the Lodge every time you read it - "Mordrid's Skill Points Magazine Every Read", that way you have an option that IS compatible with the fast start mod and also can be done mid-game

I believe in keeping mods modular and as simple as possible to give users as much choice as possible. All of my Starfield mods will always be both for Xbox and PC as I play on both.

Verified working on both PC and Xbox.

As with all mods, it's suggested that after downloading and enabling new mods in CC, exit and restart Starfield before playing, as it's a known issue that Starfield may crash if you don't.
