Craftable Primers And Diodes
By SkinnyPig2
Community Rating
Allows you to craft Small Round Primers, Large Round Primers, Charged Diodes, and Magnetic Diodes at Industrial Workbenches.
Each primer has a balanced, consistent unique crafting recipe and is unlocked after completing the appropriate research requirements.
Small Round Primers can be crafted for 1x Lead and 1x Copper after completing the Ammunition 1 research project.
Large Round Primers can be crafted for 1x Lead and 1x Copper after completing the Ammunition 2 research project.
Charged Diodes can be crafted for 1x Vanadium and 1x Zero Wire after completing the Ammunition 3 research project.
Magnetic Diodes can be crafted for 1x Cobalt and 1x Zero Wire after completing the Ammunition 3 research project.
Each primer crafting recipe requires the research project to be completed which itself requires the primer which will be unlocked in order to be completed. (Mouthful, I know!) This means that in order to be able to craft a specific primer, you must first use that primer in the research project you need to unlock crafting it. Basically, you need to have a sample of the original thing first before you can make more of that thing.
This creation overwrites the 4 primers' misc item records by adding to them appropriate workbench transforms and crafting sounds: [MISC:002C0D6C], [MISC:002C0D6D], [MISC:002C0D6F], & [MISC:002C0D71]
This creation is safe to install and remove mid-game.
