Hello everyone and welcome to my new mod! After some break, I present you „Vehicles Expanded“. I love the REV-8, but it get's boring, and on extreme difficulty, it's useless.
I wanted to add new vehicles based on my ideas. So this mod adds 21 brand new STANDALONE vehicles to the game.No need to replace anything. On Creations, there is room only for 12 images so I cannot put images of all vehicles, but there is a video on my Youtube channel for more demonstration of all vehicles!
When you make that 1st 25000 credits purchase, all these new vehicles will show up and you just select which one you want. You can edit their colors and make multiple variants and swap them similar to how you swap ships. EACH vehicle is different. It has different weapons, and each of them has different mobility settings. Some have slow boost, some have fast boost. I also visually changed some of them to be different. More below:
IMPORTANT. There is a new perk called „Vehicle Specialist“ it increases damage of all vehicles by 100%/200%/300%/400%/500% . Now bear with me here.. vehicle weapons cannot be improved as vanilla weapons at workbench. So only balancing way of improving them was to add a perk tree. So.. vehicle weapons are close to vanilla stats. Not overpowered. Depending on type, they have damages similar to Maelstrom, Microgun, Equinox, Negotiator and so on. That is why 4 level perks give a lot of damage increase. For normal difficulty I guess you can avoid perk leveling, but on extreme, it is very much needed.
NEW Vehicles: Varuun Assaulter – Varuun inspired vehicle, has serpents in front, shoots green ammo like poison. Faster firing rate. Boost is slightly increased.
Varuun Toxic Bomber – Slower firing rate, same model as Assaulter, should create a toxic cloud on explosion.
Beamer – Stronger beam laser. Point and shoot. Imagine it like a strong cutter. ALL THESE WEAPONS CAN ALSO MINE ORE!.
Special Forces Close – Shotgun vehicle. Close combat focused.
Special Forces Vehicle – Sniper based vehicle. Slow fire rate, big damage. Mobile sniper!
Special Forces Grenadier – Self explained – throw grenades on enemies.
Ultra Laser Vehicle – Shoots a strong laser that creates a Tesla AOE field.
Electromagnetic Stun Vehicle – Self explained, stun your enemies!
Energy Machinegun Vehicle – Shoot energy bullets at your enemies!
Flamethrower Vehicle – Shoot flames on your enemies! Close combat!
Glacialiser Vehicle – Shoot a freezing blast on your enemies! Close combat!
Machinegun Vehicle – Self explained, mobile Minigun!
Nuclear Tank – Slow but massive damage. Shoots Nuclear Blasts on enemies!
Rocket (Incendiary) Vehicle – Shoot Rockets that make a flameable ground enemies get burned on when walking on it.
There is a set of GLOWING Vehicles. They are vanilla but with glow stuff. They are: Purple Glow Vehicle Blue Glow Vehicle Red Glow Vehicle Yellow Glow Vehicle Green Glow Vehicle Amber Glow Vehicle ALSO, there is vanilla REV-8 BUT... SUPER FAST! Nitro mode!
This is it! Long changelog but I wanted to explain what is added!
Known stuff that can happen when playing: Varuun Assaulter sometimes doesnt aim correctly. I dont know what the issue is.
Bethesda designed vehicles to react to collision and when enemies shoot at you. This means that sometimes your vehicle will fly on grenades etc. Or when enemy shoots at you it is possible that your vehicle will move. Nothing I can do about it atm.

[About me] I am modding single player games more than 10 years. I started very young with Total War games. After Total War, my modding interest grew and I started modding every single player game I played. I always wanted to insert my ideas into games I liked and change what I would do "different". I barely play vanilla games anymore. When Starfield came out, my first go to was "how can I mod this game?". In 2020. I decided to share my work publicly for the first time with my 3K and Troy Total War Overhaul mod. But then I had to stop because my mom went into unexpected coma. She recovered fully in 2022. and now in 2024. when Starfield came out, I decided to work on Starfield because I really like the game.
In 7+ months since Starfield release I published 177 Starfield mods on Nexus. I ported more than 60 of them to Creations for both XBOX and PC players. And my mods focus on all aspects of the game (which I know how to edit of course).
So on my profile you can find a lot of standalone weapon mods, armor mods, new perks, new traits, new backgrounds, new ship parts, ship decorations, star trek inspired modules, building mods. I dare to say that in these 7 months, if you combine all my mods to one, it would really be "DLC sized" expansion.
