CASSILIA'S JOURNAL: THE MANTIS LEGACY
Hello.
It has been two months since you saved my soul inside the Terminus Temple. I should apologize... I never really had the chance to properly introduce myself. After all, the first time we met, we were too busy trying to kill each other.
Haha.
THE TERMINUS
The whispers of Terminus had taken control of me. I was no longer myself. The power inside that blade was far beyond anything I had ever encountered.
But I knew I was right about you.
You resisted Temerius. You suppressed its influence and claimed its power without losing yourself.
And no...
You didn't kill me.
When Temerius' control was finally broken, I was freed.
THE CONNECTION
But you felt it too, didn't you?
That connection between our souls.
I don't know why it happened. Perhaps Temerius created a bridge between us. Perhaps its power allowed my essence to briefly reach across the boundaries between worlds and find you.
Whatever the reason...
I'm glad it was you.

You have control over its power now.
Protect it. Understand it.
DO NOT LET KADOVAR TAKE IT BACK.

Oh, and one more thing.
You've been to the Mantis' Lair, haven't you?
Or perhaps you haven't discovered it yet?
Either way...
I was once the Mantis.
Haha.
Back then, my ship was known across the Settled Systems.
Pirates and criminals would scan my vessel, recognize who was coming, and immediately run.
I still laugh when I think about it.
They were afraid of a single ship.
THE NEXT MANTIS
Eventually, I passed the title of the Mantis to a young woman.
She had nowhere to go. She was alone, carrying a child who wasn't even one year old.
I found her during one of my hunts against pirates and rescued her.
I taught her how to fight. I taught her how to survive. I taught her how to become something greater than the circumstances that trapped her.
I don't know if she still exists in your universe...
But I hope she does.
A GIFT FROM CASSILIA
I left the Mantis Tactical Undersuit I once wore inside the Mantis Lair.
I have a feeling you will find it and it can be upgraded into a four-star legendary outfit at a Spacesuit Workbench.
I always had a talent for designing and creating clothing.
Materials. Technology. Function. Style.
Creating equipment has always been something I enjoyed.
I believe my creations will serve you well.
