District 9 Prawns

This mod introduces five fully wearable Prawn-themed exosuits inspired by the aliens from District 9. Each suit is a standalone outfit that occupies the standard spacesuit and helmet slots in one piece.

Designed to function both as a lore-bending novelty and a modular base for future modding work, these alien suits are fully compatible with Starfield’s humanoid rig and can be crafted at any Industrial Workbench in-game.

5 Variants included

Each of these five variants is built on a separate Outfit form type, making them ideal for modders who want to replace, inject, or build upon the framework with custom stats, abilities, or even integration into leveled lists and factions. No perks are required to craft them, and all five can be found under the “Prawn...” section of the Industrial Workbench.

In addition to the mod itself, this release includes full source files. That means you’ll have access to all .nif mesh files, texture maps, and working material data paths used during development. The suits are fully rigged to the standard humanoid skeleton, and the mesh hierarchy is cleanly organized for easy editing in Blender or NifSkope.
