THESE ARE THE PERSONAL GREETINGS
Feel like a true commander of your ship with Immersive Ship Greetings!
This mod adds unique voiced ship greetings to each of the main pilot seats in the game, offering an immersive greeting each time you sit in the pilot seat. The voices I have chosen are what I deem to be lore-friendly and fit the immersion best.
These are the following manufacturer personal greetings:
Nova Galactic: "Welcome back, Captain. Systems, on." - Male Deimos Staryards Inc: "Systems online, Captain. Standing by." - Male Taiyo Astroneering: "Systems, activating. Systems, on." - Female HopeTech: "Good to have you back Captain. Proceed when ready." - Male Stroud-Eklund: "Intercom Link, successful. Proceed when ready, Captain." - Female
NOTES - PLEASE READ
- Since the audio is tied to the pilot seat audio, I am unable to make it so it's interchangeable whilst in-game.
- If you enter straight into the pilot seat via pressing "R", the audio will not play.
- It goes without saying, but if you are in third person mode when you've entered the pilot seat and you can see your ship in third person, you won't be able to hear the audio. This is because the audio is tied to the pilot seat audio, which you cannot hear in third person in the vanilla game. But I also see it as (semi) intentional? It would be a tad immersion breaking if you could hear the internal comms when you are in third person.
COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with absolutely everything, unless it directly affects the enter pilot seat .wem files
