Books of Starfield is a lore-friendly expansion that brings new depth, mystery, and storytelling into the Settled Systems through the written word. This mod introduces around 50 fully original, lore-accurate books that can be discovered organically throughout the game world or purchased from shops like Sinclaire's Books in Akila City.
Each book has been carefully crafted to feel like a natural part of the Starfield universe, exploring topics such as: The history of early space colonization Mysterious alien encounters Scientific analyses of Terrormorphs Reflections on the Fall of Earth Philosophical and religious musings rooted in the cultures of the Settled Systems Fictional works, journals, and memoirs written by in-universe authors
Whether you're exploring Jemison, wandering the sands of Akila, or digging through abandoned outposts, these books help bring the world to life with immersive detail.

Added several new books, including a selection of rare titles that offer deeper lore and collectible value.
Improved distribution logic so books are placed more naturally throughout the Starfield universe.
Rare books now have unique placement or acquisition methods, such as being hidden in specific locations, obtained through quests, or sold by select vendors.
Balanced book frequency to make exploration and discovery more rewarding.
Minor fixes to text formatting and metadata for better in-game readability. -
