Cosmic Cheer

Sweetpea704 and ShadowWeaver82 have teamed up to create a little holiday cheer for the Settled Systems! ShadowWeaver82 has worked her usual magic to create six, beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Each tree has a faction theme. She has also added a candle centerpiece, two Christmas cards, and a sweet little hot cocoa tray to share with your loved ones and crew.

Sweetpea704 added a wrought iron lantern, two snow globes, three types of hanging lights, a working wassail themed galley, a wrapping station that is a working industrial workbench, a traditional fireplace, and shoes with presents. Part of the fun of this project was the creation of lore for the items. Be sure to look out for a few bits of lore in the descriptions. Be aware that the fireplace has animations to allow two of your crew to sit in front of the fire. (See photo in the gallery.)

Finally, Cora wrote a poem for the occasion. If I post the poem, she has promised not to read it over the intercom, so here it goes: "Deck the halls with cosmic cheer now, Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la! Starlight swirling far and near now, Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!"

Update November 25, 2025: After watching a streamer with a low level player try to make a Christmas tree, I decided to remove all the outpost perk requirements for the furnishings and decorations. So, roll that new toon without fear and deck the habs all you want!

Update December 2, 2025: Sweetpea704 added 3 outdoor Christmas trees lit with Old Earth lanterns in the tradition of the United Colonies.

Update December 15th, 2025: Sweetpea704 and ShadowWeaver82 wanted more stuff, so here is another update! Sweetpea reworked the lights. The hanging lantern light works as a real light and the Christmas lights are now easier to place and delete. She also added a tropical outdoor lit tree and a green outdoor lit tree. ShadowWeaver82 created a book tree for Cora's room and a Christmas bulletin board. Enjoy everyone!

Update December 19th, 2025: Fixed an incorrect keyword for the galley workbench. It properly displays food now. You may want to delete your Wassail Galley Workbench before you update, to be safe.

Update December 27th, 2025 Bug in the creation kit did not convert the .esp to .esm. Please redownload.
