Ah, back in my earlier hours of Starfield I stumbled upon a planet with reddish skies and a most gorgeous blue sunset. Never seen anything like it, but the way the blue rays filter through the alien spruce trees against the burnt red skies, the nights casting red shadows, thick, large coniferous forests and sideway icy caps biomes, and the fact there was structural material everywhere, I knew this was my planet. Piazza IV-c is my personal favorite planet to come back to. Always have a base there in any playthrough. It was my first taste of the alien worlds of Starfield, and the one that left a lasting impression. Even though the weak magnetosphere, fatally cold rain, and the long days are certainly a challenge to transverse, the beauty and decent resource list makes it a fun one to live at.

Other close contenders I also really like: Mercury- amazingly intense skybox. Mimas- a moon so close to the gas giant beauty, Saturn. Moloch II- Safe, living planet with good resources with some nice sights. Earth- Despite dying off, can't beat the OG planet that started it all. And the sunsets and sunrises are lovely to look at.

Resources are nice, but I like planets for their beauty potential, whether it be its biomes, color schemes, or skyboxes, but preferably all 3 together. I adore making homey outposts for me and my crew.

I was on some planet in the Schrodinger system, it was a good one for sure. If you like beaches, may check out Indum II (if I remember the number correctly)
